The best Keurig yet

We have now used for over two weeks and we have found the same coffee pods we have used are less bitter. The coffee machine makes the best coffee of the three previous Keurig coffee machines we have used. Moreover, I like the simplicity of the its use.

Smaller, simpler to use!

This smaller, less bells-and-whistles coffee maker is perfect for my use. It takes up so much less space on my counter than my first Keurig (the big one), and I don't need a timer, or a clock on my coffee maker. The handle on the water tank makes filling so much easer. My only complaint is that I had to buy new re-usable k-pods (we don't buy the single-use pods). This Keurig has five needles (the old one only had one). I have six pods that I fill every morning, and as we use them we set the used one aside. With my older Keurig, we would turn the used one upside down so that we knew it had been used. Can't do that now because the coffee grinds fall out. Only negative, but it just takes getting used to a new way to know which has been used.

This is my 3rd multi-stream brewer in 3 years. As evidenced by the powerful coffee flavor the multi-stream "concept" is sound. It's too bad that Keurig choses to pay for the technology by using cheap components with a shelf life less than a year! Maybe 3rd time is the charm..........

Great coffee

This machine is smaller than the first one I had but is very easy to use. The reservoir system is much handier to remove and fill but it holds the same amount as my first one. I thought I would miss the automatic turning on and off but this turns on and heats up quickly and actually takes less time when I want an unexpected cup of refreshment in the middle of the day. I am pleased.

Lots of improvements!

Just love this new coffee maker. In the past we have always had the very large ones and this is such a nice sleek design. A couple things I really like about this is that you can have the water reservoir in the back or you can have it on the side depending on what your countertop looks like. I also like the brewing circle on the top. My eyes are a little fuzzy in the morning and when I turn it on it’s blinking and I can see it really well. I also like the option for the strong brew, although I have not used that, my husband has, and he said it is definitely stronger. Our other Keurig only had one pierce in the K-cup and this has five. You can definitely tell the difference in the taste of your coffee. That is why I don’t have to use the strong setting. I would definitely recommend this, in fact I bought another one for our daughter.

Will not do what the manual says.

I'm totally blind. I got this being my old one started having issues. This one when I first got it out of the box! I noticed none of the buttons whir marked as far as accessibility needs for a Blind person at all. So know idea what was what. After I got the button stuff determined what was what! Then I started using it. In reading the manual it says you must have at least 6 OZ of water in the tank to be able to make a cup of coffee. Please keep that in mind. Hear is what I found in my testing. The manual says the tank will hold 66 OZ of water. So if you figer on a 8 OZ of coffee that means you could be able to make 8 cups of coffee. 8 times 8 is 64 OZ. In my testing you can only make 7 cups. 7 times 8 is 56 OZ of water used. But wait, the manual says you need at least 6 OZ of water. So if you subtract 56 from 66! That least 10 OZ of water in the tank. So why can't I make the 8th cup of coffee? So the manually is incorrect! You really need at least 12 OZ of water in the tank and a little more to ensure you have water encase you want to make an 12OZ cup. So if this helps people! You can make the following if the tank is full. 6OZ cups; 9 or 10. 8OZ cups 7. 10OZ cups 6. 12OZ cups 5. The coffee maker is very quiet and uses more like a tankless hot water system. It only heats the water as you need it. It doesn't use a internal tank to heat the water like some of the other makers. So for a totally blind person this can make it hard to determine if the coffee maker is making your coffee or not. After all, not like I can see the ADD Water light blinking being I'm totally blind. So to help me make this maker some what usable for a totally blind person! I used some shaped sticky bump dots. I put a donut shaped one on the strong brew. Then I put one shaped like a kiss on each of the brew sizes. Then I put a dome shaped one on the Ice coffee. Then lastly not that I needed it! I put a square shaped one on the brew button itself. Now if I could just come up with a easy way to determine when the ADD water light is blinking. Other than keeping track of the number of cups of coffee I've used out if the tank. Would be nice if it had a low pitch tone that went off when the ADD water light came on. Would also be nice to be able to turn that off for those people who don't want something like that. Yeh I said low pitch tone being I can't hear higher pitch tones. Would also be nice if Keurig really looked at accessibility stuff as far as putting physical markings a person can clearly feel to be able to tell what each button is. Like a large razed number that takes up most of the button for the cup sizes. That could then serve the totally blind and the people who are limited on sight.

Long time Keurig fan...

We are really enjoying our new machine. It’s doesn’t take up nearly the space that our duo did and has lots of options to choose from. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is the coffee isn’t hot enough. I have to put it in the microwave every time.
