Truth be told, the texture is rubbery, dense and lunch meat-like. The processing they use is the cause. If you like the striated, flaky texture of rotisserie chicken, spend a bit more (%26 get a smaller one yes) but the QUALITY at your local grocer or even Walmart is really far better.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST STORE BOUGHT ROTISSERIE CHICKEN!!!!!!! Bigger and better than ANY we have had, and we have had MANY. Sam's are much larger. HUGE BREAST! Very good. Have been buying for years and will continue to do so. Only gripe...our store is SOLD OUT quite often. Let's try to fix this! LOL.

The chicken was not cooked. It was raw. We heated the chicken in the oven to correct the problem. The chicken was not tender and the flavor was tasteless. I will never buy another one and I will discourage people from buying it. I was very disappointed to find Sam's Club selling a chicken that is advertised as ready to eat being sold not cooked, especially a product like chicken. My wife and I could have gotten sick.

So I used to share these with my dogs for many years until I moved to Vermont and I guess I live to far away but I still order home staples. I just wish I could get fresh foods and fruits and veggies. But they have been great for everything else and all the items I was ordering for donations. So far I'm just going to have to use market basket for the fresh stuff. But I would love to get some fresh meat lol from Sam's

Very disappointed. We picked up one from the deli today and it wasn't cooked all the way through. Time needs to be added to get these done. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. And the bakery cinnamon rolls were stale. Wasn't a good day to shop in store. And I rarely do because the store is so far away.

Usually it's a good chicken, I noticed a new employee the last time I was in store getting yelled at by the manager for being slow. I bought a chicken yesterday afternoon and had it for dinner . The chicken taste different and not as good as before. New employee not putting enough season on the chicken or has the recipe changed?

ALWAYS raw. We eat the breast meat and trash the rest. One can actually smell the raw chicken. I have contacted the company about this issue. Said they would check into it and give me a refund on the recent purchase. Apparently there will be no change because the last chicken I purchased was just as raw as the first and all those in-between. Never did see a refund or store credit.

While I'm glad they haven't raised the prices, but the size of the chickens is comical. Over the last year Sam's rotisserie chickens have shrunk. The one, I had delivered today, was bordering on being the size of a large Cornish game hen. It looked simply ridiculous sitting in its big plastic container. Do better Sam's Club

The flavoring of the chicken was good, but the problem that I have is either it was cooked too fast , which I highly doubt, or it had been sitting there for a very long period of time and when we got it, it was very rubbery hard to chew, so when I looked at my chickens. I noticed that it had been cooked at 11:04 AM and when my order was delivered was after 5 pm so both chickens were sitting there for a long period of time, constantly cooking in the warmth of the light and the plate at the store, I have bought mini rotisserie chickens from Walmart and never had this problem and this is the first time that I bought it from Sam's Club and I don't think I'll get be buying them again from Sam's Club, and like I said the post it could've been great, but it was hard to chew for the whole entire family

I bought these more than once just to see if it was one bad batch, or maybe even I was not seeing what I was seeing clearly…no-it's raw central and the entire chicken is raw and undercooked badly. The texture and flavor and everything internally is good poisoning central. I was so disappointed since these are a great price, and Sam's has been wonderful to shop at. But this chicken needs to come off the shelves if they cannot cook it right. Walmart is a sister store of Sam's and their chicken taste great and has been cooked. I'm afraid to even eat that now just in case. But this chicken at Sam's really is scary to see it sold so frequent like this. Reviews are all saying it and I'm another…why keep doing business this way? :(
