Bloody

There has always been a little pink next to some of the bone which is normal. This time, it was literally bloody and the texture of the meat was still uncooked. As 25+ years in food service, I know it's not safe to consume. I fed my 1.5 year old some of the breast meat and put it in the fridge. The next day I took it out to pull the meat and found all the blood next to the bone. And no, it was not the bloodline or damaged in processing. My guess is uneven cooking when you cook that many chickens at once. My little guy loves sams rotisserie chicken but I would suggest checking all of it before eating.

Delicious!

Anytime I'm in Sams club I always pick up a seasoned rotisserie chicken. They are always hot, moist and tasty. They have just the right amount of seasonings. I also slice them to make sandwiches for my work week. Once I had a couple at my dinner party and everyone enjoyed the chicken. They are a must have for me.

Very Good Bird For The Price

Chicken is very well seasoned, they weigh roughly 3 lb. Wide variety of cook available at the club from golden brown to very well done. These also make a great ingredient as well as just eating the chicken. My favorite is deboning the whole chicken, stir frying some with some cauliflower rice and vegetables. A Sam's Club rotisserie chicken can make an entire week of meals for one person.

Usually good, recent bad experience

A usual good go-to meal for our family however the chicken I bought yesterday was not thoroughly cooked. It was bloody and uncooked inside, a very disappointing experience for us. We have not had this happen before. I will definitely be exercising caution next time.

Too raw

I gave 4 stars because Sam's has the BEST chicken, bar none. They are plump, well seasoned and always juicy. They are also under cooked. The last 3 we bought were bright pink and bloody around the joints. The juice was pink also. PLEASE READ THIS Sam's quality control and cook them longer. We don't mind waiting for them.

DISAPPOINTED

Made a trip to SAM's Club in Cookeville, TN on 09/05/2023. Bought three Rotisserie Chickens. Very disappointed! Two of the chickens were extremely dry and tasteless! The third one was undercooked and had raw meat. They were also smaller in size. I have loved these chickens in the past. They are a great bargain, helpful in making many different types of meals. However, SAM's has either changed their cooking process or they have new inexperienced employees not following the stores prescribed process. Something has changed and should be looked into . Bring back the bigger chickens and use the old process of cooking these chickens!

Extremely Dry and Overcooded

Sam's has always been our Big Box store for everything....except the Chicken!! They always overcook them to 185 degrees. food saftey says Poultry is safe at 165 degrees. I understand they want to cover their butts, but 20 degrees is a bit much. I'm not sure if it's just the club I go too or not. I usually go to the C warehouse for the chicken even though it's out of the way. Only use Sam's chicken in a pinch when I'm pressed for time.

Tasty!

We have bought sams club rotisserie chickens a few times now! I usually had them to cook with but sometimes we just eat them as chicken and BBQ sauce. I give this a 4 star because of the price and it’s great tasting for the price. Definitely affordable!

Chicken Addiction. Everyone do the Chicken Dance.

Hi, I have a problem, I'm a rotisserie chicken addict. So are my dogs. We must have rotisserie chicken multiple times a week. Sam's is my supplier.... These are the biggest and best you can get. You can add this chicken to just about everything and it makes it better. I can't even throw away the bones and junk until I make soup stock. The dogs also make me ladle stock over their food. If I don't, they give my the side eye and won't let me get out of the kitchen unless their meals are properly prepared with chicken and stock.

Smaller Chickens

I bought a Rotisserie chicken today, they are getting smaller again. Also most are around 3 hours old, been told 2 hours is the limit. After digging through chickens found 1 around 2 hours. I usually shop Sam's Sunday's 10am to noon and many times they are 3 hours or older unless I catch them comming out of the oven, but the ones already out are 3 hours plus conctantly at Sam;s in Cookeville, TN.
