The chicken was big and flavorful, but there were some parts on the legs that were slightly red and cooler than the rest of the bird when I removed the meat. That is why I gave this 4 stars. Nothing that putting the shredded meat in the microwave for a few minutes couldn't fix. Overall, my family loved the chicken from Sam's.

Arriving at the store, there were only two time-dated chickens. A patron found an employee, which generated a chicken worker, who obviously by demeanor, was not pleased with having to start the entire process. As I came specifically for this product, I shopped, and returned to watch the product being packaged. I cannot stand in this person’s shoes, but my perception was that there was something missing, attitudinally, reducing whatever positivity might have been anticipated.

For the price and flavor cannot beat it. When changed to new machines it was getting cooked too much, not much juice like it usually does. I and others complained and now it is back to it's wonderful delicious chicken. I buy it maybe once every 2 weeks. It is great. I would tell everyone to try it, will not be disappointed.

I usually always buy a rotisserie chicken when I go to Sam's but this one I ordered on line to be picked up and they must have given me the worst one there!! It was burnt and dry. I ended up throwing it away. YOU may want to always just pick out your own...just sayin!!

Definitely will buy again and again. I made three whole meals for a week from one chicken and they were all so flavorful from this well seasoned, well cooked, and juicy chicken. 1st purchase. Delighted! So many recipe possibilities for less than 5 bucks. Unbelievable

Great size, enough for a meal and leftovers. Biggest problem is the taste. Like most store prepared chickens the flavor is very bland. There baking process produces a great looking skin, but all the juices that bast a chicken when baked at home just fall off and are lost. Almost all the flavor is in the skin with very little left in the bird. We end up de-boning the birds and serve the meat with a chicken based stock, if not you might as well eat a piece of cardboard.

I was buying a rotisserie chicken once a week. Then I found out that rotisserie chickens have carrageenan in them. I called the main company about it, but have not received a reply. Carrageenan causes IBS problems and can even lead to intestinal cancer. I’m done buying these until I hear if Sam’s rotisserie chickens are free of this.

I never thought I'd write a negative review of a Sam's Club rotisserie chicken. I have eaten them every month or so for many years. And I've never had a bad one -- until last Friday. I don't know what or who changed, but something or someone did. Gone was the signature tase of seasoned salt, the juicy, tender, delicious chicken. Instead, it was bland, no taste and unbelievably chewy and dry. Very disappointing. I ended up just throwing it out. I did the same about a month ago when I went there for a chicken and there were none at 4 in the afternoon. That happened twice. So I picked up some ribs, which I hadn't had in years. Same thing, Tasted different, and not in a good way. No great smoky taste, tasted funny, dry and also chewy. I can live without the ribs, but whatever you changed about the chicken, please change it back.

Okay, it's mid or late afternoon and oops, nothing is planned for dinner. The freezer may be full, but thawing something out takes some time; what to do? When that happens to us, a quick trip to our local Sam's Club, conveniently located five minutes from home, easily solves the problem with the best deal in town: A Member's Mark Seasoned Rotisserie Chicken for the unbelieveable price of $4.99. The kids are grown and gone, so one chicken will feed us both for at least two meals! Take it from me, these mouth watering perfectly done chickens can be eaten hot or cold, made into any number of chicken recipes or either frozen or freeze dried for future consumption. Can you go to a burger joint and get dinner for two for even double the price? Nope. If you haven't tried one, you're missing out.

Who can go wrong by purchasing one of these bad boys? They’re always a hit! Never a miss!!! Nice and juicy & don’t forget that flavor. My husband can eat the whole chicken but me on the other hand I just want the wings. Definitely grab for a quick meal & just make sides & you’re good to go.
