If I could give no stars I would! These are horrible. I made them to the instructions on the box and they were like soup. I had to add nearly another cup to get them to a mashed potato consistency. The taste is just bad, texture is bad. These are easily the WORST instant mashed potatoes I've ever had and I ate instant mashed potatoes in boot camp! We will be returning what we bought! Step up Sam's club. Bring back your previous brand!

I always buy the Idahon Real Premium Instant Potatoes and have for years. When my Sam's Club didn't have those in stock I decided to try this brand Hungry Jack. Wow, what a huge disappointment. It had such a horrible flavor and I will never be using this brand again.

My family loves Hungry Jack potato flakes, this is not the same thing. This is more of a powder or granules, and it has added salt along with a horrid butter flavor, at least I think that's the flavor they were going for. I'll probably be throwing this out, my family won't eat it.

These are probably the worst instant potatoes I have ever had. The aftertaste is awful and almost ruined my meal.

This used to be flakes with nothing added, now it's powder with a lot of salt added. Different flavor and too salty, I don't like the taste anymore.

Also bought these thinking it'd be the original since it's no longer made. It's not flakes and super salty and runny. Tried a few times and nothing makes it taste good. Can't return so gave it away.

What happened to their product? I used to love hungry Jack mashed potatoes it was always my go-to but this was awful the smell alone was off putting. So so very disappointed after one bite I couldn't tolerate it and threw the box out. Gross
