We had tried real instant potatoes in the past and preferred the Hungry Jack potato flakes instead. We tried these thinking we were getting the potato flakes. Ive never seen Hungry Jack mashed potatoes in this forn. Ive onlt seen flakes. This was little grains, very fine. This is salry so watch your salt when oreparing them. Otherwise they make up good and taste luke you would expect
