[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been having this Midea SmartCool Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control for a few weeks now. It is exactly what I needed and more. The 12,000 btu unit keeps our shed very cool. It doesn’t take long to cool the entire room and he unit is pretty quiet for being a window unit. The extra features are what I love the most. The fact that I can control it from my phone or Alexa is so awesome!! Now we don’t have to sit in a hot room waiting for the a/c to cool it off. We turn the unit on with either the phone or Alexa and it’s nice and cool as soon as we walk in.

Purchased this to cool about 530 sq ft of an 850 sq ft trailer home. It did a very poor job. It pumps out cool air but it never got the temps below 82 degrees. during 110 degree heat wave it kept everything down to about 85 degree's. so it kind of did it's job bot not really. We returned it for a refund. it would be a good air condition for 300-400sq ft room, but not a 550 sq ft room. For power usage i measured it at 150w with the fan high only then 650 watts when the compressor starts and it tops out at 960 watts when it's going full blast. It has no Drain hole on the back as it uses the water from the condenser to cool the back radiator. This caused the AC to smell if you didnt' use it for a couple days. That's also why we returned it. You'll have to drill a hole to empty the water which will void the warranty. overall it was a bad purchase.

It was an easy installation and set up. I am able to control the air conditioner using my Alexa. I also enjoy the sleep well feature that the system has, I would definitely recommend this product!

Not only can you use the buttons on the front panel itself to adjust the temperature you want the room to be but also it can be done by remote control. We downloaded an app in which you can turn it on/off while away from home in which we just went to the beach and turned it on as we were headed home and the house was cool when we arrived home. There is a sleep mode mode you can set or even a fan mode so many different options. This is the perfect window unit.

Let's face it, a southern Louisiana Summer is HOT and i will take all of the extra cool i can get. I have been very pleased with this product in respect to ease of installation and ease of use. Also the output of cool air does not disappoint and the wifi and voice control features are a bonus to easily change the temp as needed.

This unit has the "usual" AC unit features like different fan and cooling speeds and a remote control, but it also has AMAZING features like that you can use your mobile phone to control it or you can even enable Alexa to help out! These are the things that set this unit apart from the others. Technology is amazing. You won't be disappointed in your purchase of this unit. Highly recommended!

It works really good and keeps the room cold. Love the different functions and settings. I would definitely reccomend this if you are looking to purchase a window unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC has everything! Its extremely quite and cools perfectly! It's really easy to install in any standard window. I love that I could connect it to my Alexa and use the voice control to cut it off and on. One of my favorite features is the 24 hr timer. I set it in the morning when I leave and before I return my room is really nice and cool. My room is slightly bigger than 550 sq. ft. and it cools it great! I connected it to my IOS system and its really simple to do. It will also work with and Android. I am really really enjoying this high tech air conditioner. I highly recommend it!

The unit is a 3-in-1 that cools your room, is a dehumidifier, and can be used to ventilate a room with the fans. There is a timer feature that can be used to turn the air conditioner on at a particular time. The unit can be run using the enclosed remote control. Additionally, a major bonus to this unit is it is compatible with your smart phone (both android and iPhone) which allows you to control the unit from virtually anywhere. It is extremely easy to load on your phone, you scan the QR code on the side of the unit or the included 'user manual of smart kit' and within moments it is loaded on your phone. There are so many other wonder features about this unit also such as a sleep mode, an energy saver mode, and an auto feature that will run the unit on AC or fan depending on the rooms need. The key pad has an indicator that notifies you when the filter needs cleaning. The air conditioner cools up to 550 sq. feet which is great for our open living room space. The only con I could see with this unit for some people (though it was not for us) would be the weight as it is on the heavier side. We love this unit and could not be more pleased with how it works.
