[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Midea 8,000 BTU SmartCool Air Conditioner is a great addition to my basement. Getting it out the box and setting it up was fast and simple. I was excited to use the WiFi and voice control feature. I was able to set it up with my Alexa and turn the AC on when I am upstairs. It cools the whole basement in under an hour. The air can me directed in 4 different ways and the fan is a great bonus. The remote is a great bonus and the Energy Star is something I look for in all my appliances. I'm very happy with this AC.

I went to a local home improvement store and purchased a bracket to install in the mindow for the unit to have some additional support. Im in South Texas and it gets HOT. My AC struggles to keep this old house cool. The Midea smart cool unit has been an excellent addition to my house. It keeps the house cool and keeps my electric bill down. I love that this can be operated via Alexa or the app. So I can adjust the settings while I'm away. There is a dehumidifier option, 2 fan speeds, a timer and a sleep mode. The filer is washable as well.

My central ac unit is to small for the house I rent so I figured this would help cool off the hotter parts of the house. Needless to say it almost cools the entire house. I love how I can connect to my phone. And the digital display. The economy feature is fantastic. There are just too many other features to list. Definitely two thumbs up!

It connects to Wi-Fi and has a remote control TOO COOL! It cools off my giant livingroom and kitchen area ! Super easy to use with tons of settings. It cools the room really fast and easy and I love that I don't have to get up to change the temp or speed. I can either use the remote or the voice control option. It was very easy to install and get set up to my WiFi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With summer heat and humidity here ,this Midea 8,000 BTU Smart Cool Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control was a welcome addition to my home .This compact room A/C(with easy Installation kit included )was easy for my husband to install and fit perfectly in my 36 in wide bedroom window. It appears well made of quality materials and cooled my (little less than suggested 350 sq. ft.) bedroom very quickly .This has a lot of the bells and whistles of more expensive brand names like: 3-in-1 Comfort: Cools, Dehumidifies, and Ventilates , Smart Phone Control from anywhere using their app or Alexa , 2 Fan Speeds , 2 Cooling modes and even Energy Saver . Also a washable filter. I would defiantly recommend this a/c units to all my friends and family.

My family moved into a house six moths ago and the house had and old swamp cooler that wasnt keep cleaned nor was it maintained. We has maintainence pull it out and we but this unit in. this keeps my living room cool on hot days. It was easy to set up. The only issue is that the setting up the wifi and voice control is difficult. Other that that its an awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a top notch window air conditioner. It’s so amazing and everything I was expecting and then some. I knew it was voice activated and could be connected to WiFi but I didn’t know you could pair with Google Home. I have my lights and everything controlled with google home so it was nice to add the ac on it to. This is a 12,000 btu ac and it covers a large area. We have a cabin on a lake where we stay on the weekends, that I was able to install it at. I can now power on the AC before I get to the cabin and go in to a nice cool home. Oh that means a lot to not have to go in to a hot house! My cabin isn’t huge and it has an open loft and bathroom but it covers the whole area. The ac is pretty powerful to. It doesn’t take long at all to cool the home. As far as looks goes, it’s nice and modern looking. I’ve seen no leaks so far and or anything freezing on the inside. Hasn’t shorted out or anything along those line. It’s been great so far. The app is very easy to navigate and set up was easy. Comes with a remote, I probably will control it through the app or Google Home, but it’s a great benefit if your not in to smart phones. All in all I’m more then please. The ac is made very very well. High quality make for sure and it’s built to last. I’d absolutely recommend.

I purchased the 12,000 BTU version of this product to replace an electronically malfunctioning U-Shaped unit prior to the mold recall on that particular model. When I went to inspect my remaining U-Shape unit for mold (which it was covered in) I thought I should check this model as well. It turns out this model has black mold on the fan wheel as well as the styrofoam insulation. Currently trying to get through to the company for a return as this is now another one of their models with a mold issue and it causing health problems for my family.
