Installation of the unit was basic and didn’t take too long. I set it up to my smartphone without any issues and got it all connected right away. It really looks nice in my home and isn’t an eyesore like my last one. Has a nice sized digital display that is easy to read. The remote is convenient and has a good reach so I can control it from pretty far away. Cools off my entire living room just fine. I am loving how it is smart controlled too, fits right into my lifestyle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one compact yet powerful window ac unit. It is a lot easier to install with two people. The installation was easy. The digital features make it more modern and cool looking. You can control the the ac with an app on your phone. We are still trying to trouble shoot on the app connecting to ac unit. Once the temperature is set, the unit will maintain that temperature. It will shut off once temperature is achieved and turn back on when it needs make room cooler. This is very energy efficient. We are very happy with this ac unit.

It's very energy efficent. Easy to set up. Has a handheld remote and a cell phone app that makes operating the air conditioner even easier than a manual one. Has extra features that many other brand of air conditioners don't, like 3 speed fan, eco mode and an easy to service filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Midea 8,000 BTU SmartCool Air Conditioner is a great addition to my basement. Getting it out the box and setting it up was fast and simple. I was excited to use the WiFi and voice control feature. I was able to set it up with my Alexa and turn the AC on when I am upstairs. It cools the whole basement in under an hour. The air can me directed in 4 different ways and the fan is a great bonus. The remote is a great bonus and the Energy Star is something I look for in all my appliances. I'm very happy with this AC.

It cools the room really fast and easy and I love that I don't have to get up to change the temp or speed. I can either use the remote or the voice control option. It was very easy to install and get set up to my WiFi.

This AC unit is great. I love being able to lay in bed and control it with the app. Cools the bedroom quickly. I could see how some say it’s loud, but puts me to sleep. Shipping was OK. Took it out of the box and installed it. Easy! Then walked outside to check it out and it was dented. No big deal, still works. Others might have returned it.

Been using this for 4 days and it is awesome. It is nearly freezing us out. We have it in the dining room window pointing towards the kitchen. Between the two rooms it’s cooling an area 27x12 with no problem. Considering the house is 75 years old and the heat and humidity are terrible, I’m impressed. I will be buying smaller ones for a couple of smaller rooms.

Purchased to replacement my 5K unit for better coverage. New unit works and functions during testing by touch buttons or remote, but can't get the WIFI app to work with it. No instructions with the unit to connect to WIFI, only thing found is a YouTube video that doesn't work. The only reason I give two stars: The unit turns on and works with the touch buttons and the remote, can't connect to my phone or network.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a top notch window air conditioner. It’s so amazing and everything I was expecting and then some. I knew it was voice activated and could be connected to WiFi but I didn’t know you could pair with Google Home. I have my lights and everything controlled with google home so it was nice to add the ac on it to. This is a 12,000 btu ac and it covers a large area. We have a cabin on a lake where we stay on the weekends, that I was able to install it at. I can now power on the AC before I get to the cabin and go in to a nice cool home. Oh that means a lot to not have to go in to a hot house! My cabin isn’t huge and it has an open loft and bathroom but it covers the whole area. The ac is pretty powerful to. It doesn’t take long at all to cool the home. As far as looks goes, it’s nice and modern looking. I’ve seen no leaks so far and or anything freezing on the inside. Hasn’t shorted out or anything along those line. It’s been great so far. The app is very easy to navigate and set up was easy. Comes with a remote, I probably will control it through the app or Google Home, but it’s a great benefit if your not in to smart phones. All in all I’m more then please. The ac is made very very well. High quality make for sure and it’s built to last. I’d absolutely recommend.

I have a large living room, more long than wide. And the Midea cooled it down in less than 20 minutes. I love all the features and the filter is super easy to remove and clean. This is the best A.C. we have ever gotten.
