I have a large living room, more long than wide. And the Midea cooled it down in less than 20 minutes. I love all the features and the filter is super easy to remove and clean. This is the best A.C. we have ever gotten.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Midea 12,000 BTU SmartCool Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control is the perfect unit to cool your house on those hot summer days. The unit is a 3-in-1 that cools your room, is a dehumidifier, and can be used to ventilate a room with the fans. There is a timer feature that can be used to turn the air conditioner on at a particular time. The unit can be run using the enclosed remote control. Additionally, a major bonus to this unit is it is compatible with your smart phone (both android and iPhone) which allows you to control the unit from virtually anywhere. It is extremely easy to load on your phone, you scan the QR code on the side of the unit or the included 'user manual of smart kit' and within moments it is loaded on your phone. There are so many other wonder features about this unit also such as a sleep mode, an energy saver mode, and an auto feature that will run the unit on AC or fan depending on the rooms need. The key pad has an indicator that notifies you when the filter needs cleaning. The air conditioner cools up to 550 sq. feet which is great for our open living room space. The only con I could see with this unit for some people (though it was not for us) would be the weight as it is on the heavier side. We love this unit and could not be more pleased with how it works.

The 12,000 btu unit keeps our shed very cool. It doesn't take long to cool the entire room and he unit is pretty quiet for being a window unit. The extra features are what I love the most. The fact that I can control it from my phone or Alexa is so awesome!! Now we don't have to sit in a hot room waiting for the a/c to cool it off. We turn the unit on with either the phone or Alexa and it's nice and cool as soon as we walk in.

I love that I could connect it to my Alexa and use the voice control to cut it off and on. One of my favorite features is the 24 hr timer. I set it in the morning when I leave and before I return my room is really nice and cool. My room is slightly bigger than 550 sq. ft. and it cools it great! I connected it to my IOS system and its really simple to do. It will also work with and Android. I am really really enjoying this high tech air conditioner. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Air conditioner starts cooling whatever room you have it in very rapidly after turning it on. It's very quiet while running. It's very energy efficent. Easy to set up. Has a handheld remote and a cell phone app that makes operating the air conditioner even easier than a manual one. Has extra features that many other brand of air conditioners don't, like 3 speed fan, eco mode and an easy to service filter.

With 12,000 BTU it kept my 1000 square feet room super cool and the air circulated well throughout the room. I kept my bedroom doors open, and it also kept those rooms nice and cool. The AC was also very quiet, so I am super happy about that.

The blue display light is so bright it has disrupted my circadian rhythms. It was so hard to install and is still not in there correctly. The window screen doesn't fit as stated in the sales description. Lastly, there were no WiFi instructions in the manual.
