Favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be my new favorite. I think I have a hard time selecting between the various red wines and this red blend does the trick…. I really enjoyed it with all kinds of pasta dinners. Highly recommend!

Solid choice for red

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend free through Ripple Street. This was a nice compromise red and would be a great choice for any dinner party, especially if you're not a red drinker and want to get something for those who are. My partner described it as a sweet start, low, dry peak, and a neutral finish. It's a solid choice for a nice wine to go with dinner, dessert, charcuterie, and more.

Very Original

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the Robert Mondavi Rye barrel aged red blend is quite original way of aging Rye to create an unique flavor. It creates a deep flavor with notes of dark fruit like black cherry and plum. You also get and gives you a nice smooth rich flavor of gingerbread and spices at the end. This pairs well with almost anything but works perfect with your charcuterie board.

Oh woowwwwwww

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit that I don't really know much about wine and don't really like to drink, but I absolutely loved this wine! it's not bitter at all and it pairs really well with red pastas! I wish I added it to my red sauce I was making because it would have added another level of flavor that would have been thoroughly enjoyed

Delicious with steak!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine is one of my favorites! The color is a nice dark red, blood color. The smell give hints of cinnamon, cherry, boysenberry. The taste is smooth and has a smoke finish to it. Tastes wonderful with cheese and steaks. Definitely a wonderful wine. I will purchase more!

Red Blend Aged in Rye Barrels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend has an incredible aroma of boysenberry and black cherry. A very bold and unique experience; absolutely delightful. I enjoyed the unique flavors added from the rye barrel aging process. This paired very well with our charcuterie board with cured meat and gourmet cheese. I look forward to trying this again at my next gathering!

Interesting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t think I’ve ever had a wine that tasted quite like this one before. I can’t tell if it was the right or the blend of grapes, but it was definitely a unique wine. I’d love to have someone who has experience and wine try it and tell me more about it. Other people at the party also commented that they hadn’t tasted one quite like this one before.

Another cool wine from RM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Harvest 2019 Rye Barrels, Robert Mondavi. Another cool wine from RM. Wine with a touch of expe0rience and daring as part of it, aged in oak barrels. Very dark appearance, which denotes a lot of extraction and high tannins and polyphenols. There are still no signs of evolution. Nose without great explosions of aromas. In the mouth, well-integrated plums, black cherries, blackberries, oak, cocoa, caramel and vanilla. Medium body (expected more), medium tannin more. Medium alcohol plus and medium acidity. Short persistence and spice flavors add to those already identified. In the glass, intense ruby with medium tears. Containing 14.5% alcohol. fruit aromas, black and spices. For my taste, a little sweet at the end.

Red blend is the best!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red blend was definitely my husband and I 's favorite of the three. Definitely a winter wine! First "sniffs" of the cork reminded me of cinnamon or all spice! Notes of something that hits your nose cold like a peppermint gum comes through (sounds crazy right). It is a great combination between the tangy and tart!! I first tasted this with a clean palate but then my husband and I sat down with the bottle and a small charcuterie board consisting of baguettes, ham, chicken, celery, grapes, and mild cheese. Next time I would love to try this with pepperoni added. YES THATS HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED IT! We ended the night on this great bottle.

Not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was dry. Very dry. I did not enjoy this wine at all. It was not my style. My husband said it was ok, but he’s not having me rush out to buy it. It may be better if I was having a red meat meal but I’m not sure.
