[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Red Blend had a great taste. I could taste hints of blackberry in it. I had this with some salami, prosciutto, brie, and cheddar. A fan of white wines, this red may become another favorite of mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dark red almost plum in color. Delicious flavors of berries, ginger, cinnamon, and chocolate notes. Reminds me of eating raspberry filled dark chocolate on the back end. This wine is smooth and has a subtle smoky taste. Great with of grilled steak, charcuterie board, good cheeses, and sliders. Was the favorite of the party.

Red blends are just multiple red types of red grapes blended together so you never know what you’re going to get. Some can be sweeter and some can be dry and this Robert Mondavi red blend wine is on the dry side compared to others I have had. The notes are fruity and vanilla. Red blend wines are good to drink with darker meats such as steak and potatoes. The flavor is very rich and warms you up on a cold night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rye red blend had the less sharp astringent notes from the rye barrel. The barrel aging process enhances the nose of the red blend giving it a little subtle something extra from the hint of rye. We tasted it alone, but would love to pair it with a hearty beef bourguignon or wellington. Depending on how the other bottle tastes this might be Christmas dinner's wine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend is all of your favorite fruits combined (eg, boysenberry, cherry, plum, blackberry). It also carries flavors of baking spice, such as gingerbread, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chocolate. I paired it with a steak dinner. In the future, I will be trying it with a meat and cheese plate.

We tasted strong hints of black cherry and blackberries with a more subtle hint of woodsy oak and spice. This paired well with the charcuterie board. I believe this wine would be a great accompaniment with a hearty beef stew or pot roast, gravy and potatoes! We will definitely have this wine on hand for holiday season entertaining!
