[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure how the Rye Barrel flavor would interact with the red blend wine, but it worked well. My friends and I did a wine tasting party all liked this one. It's a little dry, not overly sweet with a slight smoky aroma. I think it would pair well with a grilled steak, but we just drank it with cheese and crackers. Its a great casual wine to share with friends. Robert Mondavi never disappoints.

It was a beautiful deep color and had the aroma of rye, fruits, and vanilla. The taste of rye, dark fruits, and spices came through when tasting and the finish had a nice smokey hint. This wine is a good versatile wine overall and I would purchase and serve it again. I did pair it with some blue cheese and it was absolutely wonderful. This wine can stand up to some strong cheese and would be excellent with a charcuterie board to please the masses. I will keep this wine on my radar although it was a bit difficult to locate in my stores.

As soon as you smell the wine, you can smell plum, black cherry, gingerbread, Once I sipped it, you have other flavors you can detect such as Plum, spice, smoked flavors. I paired this one with Hard aged cheese with variety of crackers and kiwi to balance it. I also added curated meats. This is the perfect appietizer wine.

The blend was a huge crowd pleaser. Sometimes blends can be too sweet and leave you with a headache, not the case at all for this delicious red! Full of flavor with the rye aging but light enough to go down smoothly. Will definitely be buying again as it paired well with our desserts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Monddavi Private selection Rye Barrel Aged Red Blend is truly remarkable with it's blends of grapes that work so well. I really enjoyed this wine with pizza and with a cheese board with an assortment of mild and strong cheeses. This wine smells wonder ful and tastes even better. I like the hints of cherry, spices, and the smoothness of it. I will be serving this wine over the holidays and there after!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend aroma was definitely distinctive of cherries. Once it hit my lips I could smell the sweetness of the cherries. The appearance was not as red as the Merlot, the Red took its appearance from the black cherries. The unique taste of the Red aged in the Rye barrel certainly came through with the first sip. The finish was smooth and light. Paired it with my favorite comfort food: pepperoni pizza. I found it complimented well, was not bitey and enhanced the flavor of the pizza extremely well.

This wine in particular has a nice clean finish, it pairs nicely either with a meal or just as a sipping wine. I would suggest this wine to those who prefer a semi-dry red at a reasonable price. The taste is easy and not as dry as other red blends.

Still delicious but would only be able to have one glass along with cheese to reset the palate. Color is dark ruby and I was getting a nice finish Everytime for some a wine that has been liquor barrel aged. Well executed
