A tangy red with clear berry notes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend has a very light aroma and deep, burgundy color. It is quite tangy and we were all easily able to pick up on the described berry notes. The gingerbread spice eluded us but we enjoyed the tart finish and fruity, but not sweet, flavor!

Red Blend Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its deep red appearance gave off a fruity aroma. it tasted slightly acidic but it had a quick finish and went down smoothly. We all agreed, as we filled up our glasses again, that we enjoyed this more than the other two bottles. Everyone said yes when asked if this wine would be on their shopping list! Cheese and crackers disappeared along with the wine!!!!

gorgeous red blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to review this Red Blend for my honest review compliements of Robert Mondavi and Ripple Street for my honest review! This was probably my favorite of the bunch! It’s got lovely hints of cherry and them a spicy warmth - think cinnamon and nutmeg! Smooth finish and forward taste! We grilled up some burgers for a lovely companion.

Interestingly good red blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure how the Rye Barrel flavor would interact with the red blend wine, but it worked well. My friends and I did a wine tasting party all liked this one. It's a little dry, not overly sweet with a slight smoky aroma. I think it would pair well with a grilled steak, but we just drank it with cheese and crackers. Its a great casual wine to share with friends. Robert Mondavi never disappoints.

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma was sweet and it tasted better than I expected. We enjoyed this one more than the Cabernet. I could see us enjoying this one with a cheese and fruit charcuterie board. We paired it with dark chocolate which was decent together.

Not for Rye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the worse wine out of all three. It lacked a lot but mainly the aroma and taste were just not up to par for this Red Blend. The aftertaste was overwhelming sour. Not sure what happened with this wine, could be the Rye!

Favorite of the three

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend was the favorite among the group for the tasting. The aroma, taste, and finish was rated higher than the other two wines for everyone. The Aroma was bold and unique. Definitely enjoyed that. We kept it simple with the pairing and went with cured meats and cheeses with it. It paired nicely. Absolutely would buy again

Robert Mondavi Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the full bodied jammy taste of the red blend. I taste black cherry and chocolate with a hint of coffee and spice. This wine would make a great compliment to your favorite dark chocolates or a fresh charcuterie board.

Delicious yet Strong Wine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle of this wine was luxurious looking and pretty to look at as well. It was super easy to open the wine bottle and I ended up sharing this wine with my mom as well. We both tried this wine and we could smell the wine before we even took a sip and it did smell strong. I did notice that this wine wasn't super dry which is nice for me. I like wines that aren't dry or too dry at least. The wine wasn't very sweet but I could taste a note of it. There were interesting notes I could taste and this wine was very flavorful. I really did enjoy this red blend and did notice an aftertaste of what almost tasted like berries of some sort which is nice. I did taste tannins as well which caused a little bit of a pucker every time I took a sip. I don't think there is a ton but I did notice that in this wine. I do not think there was a lot of acidity as it didn't taste super crisp and fresh like other wines that I have had in the past. The aroma was also delicious!

Very nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel Red Blend and enjoyed it. It's a nice wine for its price point. Rye whiskey isn't my preference, so I didn't enjoy this one as much as the bourbon barrel cab. However, it is still a very nice red blend, just not my first choice. It had aromas of black currant, spice, and tobacco. Its tasting notes were of pepper, smokiness, and plum. It has deep tannins, so it would pair nicely with a steak or aged cheese.
