[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying that I'm not a big fan of red wines, and this did not change my mind. The Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend had a normal red wine aroma. It was slightly buttery and spicy. It appeared red and clear. The taste was not too smooth - a little sharp. Again, a typical red taste. The finish was dry, probably due to the rye. I would not try this again in the future. My husband will finish the bottle. We had turkey tacos with this wine.

The price is great though. I wouldn’t purchase it again, but it did pairs well with a charcuterie board or just by itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Red Blend has great complexity. You can taste the dark fruits (plum and berries) that are balanced with some spice and oak. It paired nicely with our charcuterie board of goat cheese and prosciutto.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend had a Christmas spice and fruity flavor. Its little oaky and little smoky. The wine was full bodied, and favorable. The spice tasted like cinnamon/nutmeg, gingerbread. The berry flavor was a deep berry tang like it had blackberry or raspberry in it. This wasn't my favorite wine taste. It was doable with steak, hamburgers, cheese, pasta, vanilla cake. I might not would buy again.

Deep, rich tannins and a hint of smoke round out the wine with a lingering finish. A fine choice to pair with grilled skirt steak, kobe beef sliders, cured meats, and aged cheeses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red blend is just sweet enough. I would describe this wine as smooth with a hint of aged flavor. I was expected a stronger & bolder flavor but was pleasantly surprised by the smooth flavor. This wone will pair well with a dessert or before dinner appetizer. I decided to take it to a ladies night bingo & we enjoyed the bottle with a charcuterie board and desserts.
