Tasty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Red Robert Mondavi wine is so delicious. This is my favorite wine Red a refreshing sweetness with mouthwatering notes. You can come fashionably late, but bring your fabulous friend Robert Mondavi!

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this out while having a games night with friends and family. The rye barrel-aged definitely helped to enhance the flavors of plum, black cherry, and blackberry. These flavors are some peoples favors so they were excited about that. Some people thought it was a little dry for them, so thats why a star was taken away.

Red Blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could have found these Red blend but I went to 5 different places and none had it so I got a different Robert Mondavi. The taste was good and went down smooth and was great with cheese and crackers and the meats.

Rye Barrel-Aged Red

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma is of spice. The appearance is thicker and dark burgundy. The taste is black cherry forward with the spice finish. More acidic than I prefer. Still a good drinking with on a cool evening. I could see myself having this on a cool evening sitting by a fire.

Perfect wine for cold weather and hearty meals!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine was another home run! With a dark red color, the aroma was warm and mellow! We tasted strong hints of black cherry and blackberries with a more subtle hint of woodsy oak and spice. This paired well with the charcuterie board. I believe this wine would be a great accompaniment with a hearty beef stew or pot roast, gravy and potatoes! We will definitely have this wine on hand for holiday season entertaining!

Delicious starting wine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to start with the Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend and pair it with my cold meat and cheese charcuterie board. The almost peppery tannin aftertaste matched well with the cheeses and meats, and though slightly bitter, it is a good match with brie specifically.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Red Blend from Robert Mondavi’s other collection, and I really liked it. I think I even gotten the largest bottle for a party a while ago, and it was a hit among guests. I think because it had more of a pronounced sweet taste to it. So, I was really excited to try the new Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend from Robert Mondavi Private Selection. The introduction suggested to pair it with cured meats and gourmet cheeses so I, of course, being extra, tried it with prosciutto, salami & soppressata, also added some green grapes and wheat crackers. The combination was absolutely delicious! The lush, bold taste of blackberry and plum made the tasting experience unforgettable. I would definitely be stocking up with this amazing wine for the holidays.

It was ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t love this one as much as the rum barrel aged wine but it’s not horrible. I give it a three star because I would drink it again but it’s not my favorite. If you want something aromatic and full of flavor try the rum aged type.

Not my favorite blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am up for revisiting this tasting as we may have had too many pairings/tastings for one evening. The combination we explored just did not work on this day. Another set of pairings on another day once our pallets have refreshed may provide a different result.??

Delicious blend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red blend was our favorite of the wines. It is a balanced and robust blend, full bodied and fruit forward with a hint of rye finish. We paired it with an aged white cheddar and crackers, and we enjoyed it so much!
