Everyone was exited to try the Red Blend since none of had tried a red blend in the past. It had a nice aroma and was a very dark wine. The flavor was very bold and a little too strong for us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend: We paired with Bolognese to hopefully tone down taste because personally I'm not too big of red wines but was willing to taste for being sponsored by Ripple Street and Robert Mondavi for my honest opinion. I like to taste my wines first before reading ingredients, so I won't miss flavors that were prominent. I was definitely able to smell some sorts of fruit-black cherries upon opening. Kind of jammy, spiced, and with a slight hint of "mesquite smoke" or oaky taste.

The red blend was very smooth and had a fantastic finish to it. the flavor was like a lush black cherry or plum. It had a wonderful bold flavor and a lovely aftertaste that lingered on well after the wine was gone. definitely a keeper. I will be buying this wine again. Great flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma consisted of oak and berries... It smelled amazing! The flavor tasted that of the smell! There was no bitter taste left in my mouth which was great. I made a very healthy charcuterie board with tons of variety and my favorite to pair it with was a seasoned cracker with Brie on top. Matter fact I never tried Brie or this type of wine before and honestly I loved both and will enjoy more of both in the future!

Great for sipping during a cold night by the fireplace with friends or family. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smooth, polished red blend that won’t break the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand of red blend with a Rye Barrel selection is quite good and had good tones which were not uoended by the smooth and red blend fruity but smooth flavors. Definitely enjoyed this one most out of the bunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened this bottle of wine for dessert with my homemade cheesecake. The hint of Graham cracker was an excellent pairing. The smells and the taste were a perfect pairing. My husband loved it too. Definitely recommend, a must!!

However, the added twist of rye and gingerbread spice and subtle toasted oak by Robert was how every Red Blend should taste! This was by far the most surprising in flavor concepts but the most appreciated. For the first time, I could agree this was better than most competitors. Bravo for making a balanced red blend, I can enjoy with any dinner I choose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good red blend, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try this one. Aging the wine in a Rye barrel made it unsafe for me as a gluten-free customer. My guests who sampled the wine described it as having an over-powering rye flavor.
