I was expecting to love this figuring they use the rotisserie chickens that don’t sell. The flavor is meh. I did not enjoy the huge chunks of chicken which I feel makes it hard to eat in a sandwich or on top of a bagel. If you want really good chicken salad and live in WI, IL, IA, MI or MN get it at Kwik Trip!!!!

Picked this up yesterday and had it for my lunch today. While eating it I bit into a chunk of chicken that tasted off. When I looked I found it to be raw on the inside. This is not acceptable. While I enjoyed the taste of the salad and had eaten almost all of my lunch before noticing it. I'm not sure I would purchase again.

I ordered 6 # via phone for a wedding shower. Have bought Sam's Rotisserie chickens for years... my mistake assuming this was chicken used for this salad. It seemed like it was just baked skinless chick breast- very "tough" no flavor - lots of "grizzle" and HUGE chunks of meat. The Mayo was very runny, celery slices so small they added no "crunch" nor flavor. It also seemed "salt" was only spice used. Would not purchase ever again. I had to hand cut all of the chicken, added spices and fruit to make it edible. I knew that I was going to add the extra fruit, but I expected a better "base" of Chicken salad. You could not serve this as it was sold to me.

I read all the reviews about how delicious this chicken was is ... I went to Sams' several times on shopping trips, looked at the salad ... it did look wonderful, but decided not to make a purchase. Today ... I bought some. OMG! It really is GOOD! Like, w-a-a-a-y good! A bit pricey at over $4.50 a pound (prepackaged into 2 pound containers) but seriously worth it. Has the prefect amount of dressing, chopped celery and the chicken chunks are crazy huge! I bought some PaPaPita bread to go with. Truly a good product!

this is the best chicken salad ever. my only complaint is that by the time I can get up there to buy it I only have a few days before the expiration date and it is such a large amount that we usually end up throwing most away. Tehy used to sell a smaller amount, which was perfect, at the counter near the snack bar. But we will often chop this up even more and place on ritz crackers then sprinkle with a spicy cajun seasoning. it is awesome

Something is very off and gross about this new recipe, and it's ruined the entire thing for me. It's sweet and fishy now…and more oily somehow? I'm hearing it's no longer prepped fresh in-store, and instead it's made somewhere else and shipped in. Big disappointment

I used to really enjoy this chicken salad but they've changed it. There is so much mayonnaise in it now, it looks like rice pudding. Barely any chunks of chicken. I'm guessing this was done to help with costs, but I personally would rather pay a little more and get the same product rather than this disgusting mayo soup... yuck!

This used to be a staple in my fridge, but after not being able to find it for a while I got a tub only to find that the recipe has changed. I loved it before and now it tastes sweet. The best thing about the original was that it was savory, which is hard to find in grocery store “salad” products. So disappointing!

New recipe is awful! I thought the chicken salad looked different but bought it anyway. When I got home and opened it, there were oily spots on the top and bottom. I will probably throw it away! The old recipe was my favorite. Very disappointed in the chicken salad now!

why change the recipe??? i have bought chicken salad from the Oxford, AL location for years. i am extremely disappointed in the recipe change. it was once large chunks of white meat chicken, mayo, and celery but now it is grey chicken mush with too many seasonings. paprika does not belong in chicken salad. i really hope the old recipe returns quickly. i can see by the latest 1 star reviews i'm not the only dissatisfied customer.
