The current version of the rotisserie chicken salad is a major disappointment. It's no longer the chunky, flavorful salad with distinct pieces of chicken; instead, it's a completely smooth, mayonnaisey mush that completely lacks texture. It's definitely not worth buying.

I hadn't bought Sam's chicken salad for a while because me and my daughter had gotten tired of it because that's how much we ate it. Finally bought some today and OMG TERRIBLE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHICKEN SALAD? No chunks of chicken now its shredded with tons of visible brown chicken skin and its unusually sweet. $19 for this flaming tub of garbage. We will never buy this again. Please bring back the previous recipe because whatever this is i wouldn't describe it as chicken salad 🤢

the deli chicken salad used to be really good. the last two times I've purchased it it looked divverent- AND tastes like there is something wrong with it. I've wasted over $26 now, bc I was naive enough to think it was a single issue. are all the Sam's clubs in town using this new terrible tasting recipe? I'll refrain from ordering for pickup but rather go into the other clubs to see if they at least look like the consistency of the former recipe.

Sam's Club! Did you change this recipe? Have always had an addiction to this chicken salad but just picked one up (June 2026) and it's totally different and not for the better! Hardly any chicken chunks in it- it's more like a mousse consistency. Flavor also changed. Please go back to what you were doing. 🙏

What have you done to my Rotisserie Chicken Salad? I have loved this chicken salad for YEARS! The seasoning has changed, texture is different and you've added ingredients. I don't know if it's to save costs but the quality has went down the tubes. PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!

This used to be a weekly staple in my house in one of the reasons why I kept my membership, but to be honest they have changed something about this recipe and it's like a fluffy weird texture and there's also something orange that's been added, and the taste is completely different. Whatever they added, did not improve the salad.

The original in store made chicken salad was wonderful, bright color, full of flavor and purchased it almost every visit. The last time I purchased it, about 2 months back, the chicken salad looked like mush with a red paprika tint to it. It was horrible and I tossed it out. The last several visits it had been this same mush which had me look through Reddit and others have the same issue at their store. Please bring back the original in-store made version or share the original recipe. Thank you

Have been buying this chicken salad for a few years or since Sam's has been selling it. I hadn't purchased for a several weeks and unfortunately they've changed the recipe. It doesn't taste anything like the previous recipe. In fact it doesn't even taste like chicken salad anymore. Who on earth changed the recipe? Who ever is making the updated recipe doesn't know how to make checken salad. The new recipe is the worse chicken salad I h ave ever eaten. Won't be buying it anymore unless they change it back to the previous recipe.

What has happened to the Sam's chicken salad?? We used to look forward to purchasing this once a week. The last several weeks, we have noticed that the quality has declined greatly. The big chunks of chicken have been replaced with what appears to be shredded or flaked chicken similar to tuna fish. The texture is off, and the taste is off also. The difference is palpable , and not in a good way . I don't know if it's an effort to save money on Sam's part, but they won't be saving money from us. We will no longer purchase it. Bring back the original Sam's!

We loved your previous recipe made with chuncks of chiccken. Recently the recipe has changed to very finely shredded chicken (almost resembling a puree). We do not like this new preparation at all and do not intend to purchase it again, unless it reverts to the previous chunk chicken recipe.
