This pasta-kale salad was a big hit at the potlucks that I have brought it to! I don’t cook, so picking up this premade salad is easy enough for me to do. I sometimes swing by Sam’s Club just to grad one of the salads to munch on over a weekend. The pasta gives some chewy texture, and the cheese gives a nice tang to the salad. The real stars are the dressing that the salad. White balsamic vinaigrette, and the kale! The kale takes up a lot of the dressing flavor. Love it

This is a great dish to serve at your own gathering or take to a potluck. It is great as iis or you might add olives or artichoke hearts or? You can even microwave it and serve as a casserole. If you serve it a day or 2 later you might wantb to add some extra olive oil or salad dressing. I noticed that Sam's is now selling it in the bigger containers. I would prefer the smaller ones and then decide if I need one or two😉.

This pasta salad is a good starter. I like to add more fresh chopped veggies to it, like onions, carrots or peppers. It tastes really good. I also, like to portion this into sandwich bags, flatten them and freeze for later. Thaws out really fast on it's own. Makes a good summer lunch for a single person.

The salad is high as Snoop Dogg, but it tastes great. I can’t justify the $4.98 price per pound being twice the price per pound of sausage and higher than boneless chicken meat. Further more, the pasta is delicious, but it is a cheap weighty ingredient that is increasingly pushing out the kale. They should now call it a pasta salad with a relish of kale. If they would reduce the pasta by two thirds and triple the kale (yea, push it in there), the salad would be a more reasonable offering for that sky high price per pound.

Delicious salad. I bought it on a whim for an office potluck. It was a big hit. I bought it again for a summer side dish at my home. About a week later, my daughter in law said she was craving it and wanted the recipe. I confessed that it was from Sam’s Club. She told my son that they needed to join to buy it.

This is literally the best salad I've ever eaten! Took away one star for two things - I'd like to see healthier ingredients like olive oil vs the oil that's used, and I'd also recommend Sam's removing every kale stick that can't be eaten and only include the leaves. But over all, it's great taste wise and I will continue buying.

Nutritious and delicious salad that works as an entree. I love the variety of food textures and tastes. Best way to eat kale. A bit oily for me, so I add some pre-washed dry kale. I buy it for friends, also, who love it just as it is and never tire of it.

Appears this locally made salad includes Pecorino Romano cheese that was first recalled on Nov 26, 2025 due to Listeria bacteria and upgraded to a class 1 (potential death) recall on Jan 7, 2026. We purchased frequently (nine purchases over this period) and did have a few stomach issues during holidays but was unaware of issue until most recent recall. Unacceptable Sam’s continued to sell and provided no alerts to consumers that purchased.

I returned this -product because it was spoiled already and was still sitting on the shelf for sell. this was very disappointing. WhenI returned it the employee told me he had purchased one the day before and it ws spoiled as well.

This salad has more stems than greens. Not sure why it isn’t required to remove them, they ruin the entire taste of the salad since they’re so acidic.
