This is one of the better store bought salads I’ve tried. It tastes like it was made at home. It’s not like other pasta salads and the dressing has a great taste. There aren’t a lot of ingredients, but it’s delicious. If you’re not a fan of kale, you will be once you try this. This would make a perfect dish during the hot summer months.

This salad is so, so good. Its always fresh. I love the crunch of the kale. Ive told many people about Sam's Members Mark Mediterranean Kale Pasta Salad. For the ones that have tried it, they also agree. Hint - sometimes I pop my bowl of salad in the microwave for about 10 seconds and to me it is very tasty warm too.

I never thought I would write a positive review for a Kale & Pasta, cold salad. But here I am. My family and I LOVE this. It is not sweet. It is not spicy, it is not salty, but somehow, it is delicious. The pasta is usually firm, the kale is tender. The sun-dried tomatoes are lightly sweet and plentiful but not overpowering. The dressing completely coats without being oily, and is flavorful, the parmesan is fresh and generous, adding a bit of saltiness but too much. It is filling and stays with you without making you feel bloated or sleepy. It's great as a side or as a light lunch. My husband takes it as a light meal on nights he has martial arts. I even convinced my picky 30 something to finally try it and they begrudgingly admitted that it's good. It’s a tasty, inexpensive meal you can feel good about eating.

This pasta-kale salad was a big hit at the potlucks that I have brought it to! I don’t cook, so picking up this premade salad is easy enough for me to do. I sometimes swing by Sam’s Club just to grad one of the salads to munch on over a weekend. The pasta gives some chewy texture, and the cheese gives a nice tang to the salad. The real stars are the dressing that the salad. White balsamic vinaigrette, and the kale! The kale takes up a lot of the dressing flavor. Love it

The salad is high as Snoop Dogg, but it tastes great. I can’t justify the $4.98 price per pound being twice the price per pound of sausage and higher than boneless chicken meat. Further more, the pasta is delicious, but it is a cheap weighty ingredient that is increasingly pushing out the kale. They should now call it a pasta salad with a relish of kale. If they would reduce the pasta by two thirds and triple the kale (yea, push it in there), the salad would be a more reasonable offering for that sky high price per pound.

Delicious! We have this with the grilled chicken breast sold at Sam's. It's a perfect meal and enough leftovers for a couple lunches.

This is literally the best salad I’ve ever eaten! Took away one star for two things - I’d like to see healthier ingredients like olive oil vs the oil that’s used, and I’d also recommend Sam’s removing every kale stick that can’t be eaten and only include the leaves. But over all, it’s great taste wise and I will continue buying.

I've always loved this salad until my last purchase. There was a lot of hard kale stems mixed in. This makes the salad weigh more therefore your paying for something you can not eat.

Appears this locally made salad includes Pecorino Romano cheese that was first recalled on Nov 26, 2025 due to Listeria bacteria and upgraded to a class 1 (potential death) recall on Jan 7, 2026. We purchased frequently (nine purchases over this period) and did have a few stomach issues during holidays but was unaware of issue until most recent recall. Unacceptable Sam’s continued to sell and provided no alerts to consumers that purchased.

Loved it in the past. But the last few times I've purchased the salad have not been great. There were too many kale stems that ruins the joy of eating it. I've spent 15 mins picking them all out. In addition, ther is little to no feta chunks or parmesan cheese anymore, which gave this dish its unique flavor. I've had to add my own. Its gotten to the point where i'm considering not buying it anymore, and just make the entire dish myself.
