One Bag of Bad Apples!

I always buy Honey crisp apples from Sam’s. However, I will hold off for a little while because of how bitter that batch of apples were. Even though they have come way down in price (almost half of what they usually are $5.49), The bitter taste has left a bad taste in my mouth.

The most expensive apples at Sam’s, but the best!

These apples are absolutely the best tasting I’ve ever had. Soo juicy and the perfect combination of sweetness and tartness. Sure, they are the most expensive, but when they’re the best, they are worth it. Now…if only they could keep them from bruising and rotting in the bag, everything would be great!

Good product, but often pillaged by customers

I appreciate the quality and the grab and go packaging. The only frustration was that there were many bags that were opened and people had taken Apples from one bag and add it into others. There’s no way to know if you’re actually getting 4 pounds because there’s no scale in Sam’s Club.

Good, not perfect.

I enjoy Honeycrisps on a regular basis. Only four stars, because this bag had a few apples with brown spots (that I couldn’t see from outside the bag). Still, a good value-and most of the bags I have bought have been 100% good. I will be buying again.

Honeycrisp are preferred

Honeycrisp are the preferred variety in my opinion. Price per volume is excessive by a little bit. I’ve tried the other apple varieties offered and they taste like sadness to be honest. So I continue to buy these although I’ve had a percentage of bad bags of apples.

Crop

I purchased these apples because you and I really enjoy these apples, but these apples are not a new crop, they taste old, ... I always do curbside pick , plus they are seasonal. ... I did not return but to me the worst honey crisp I have ever tasted

Enjoyable

My husband loves the apples. I fear my honest, good reports have resulted in our membership prices increasing. My husband and I are senior citizens on fixed income and have cherished the privilege of being able to order and pickup our items and also having the PLUS enable us to get our deliveries. We’re no longer able to maneuver going into the store as we were, so we were so thankful to be able to continue shopping at Sam’s. Now, with the increase, we’re probably not going to be able to enjoy this advantage anymore, because, in the past, our orders have not always been $50.00. So, we will have to look for an avenue that best suits our situation. We have been members for forty plus years.

Juiciest apples

Recently purchased these apples for the first time and my wife and I both enjoyed them. Crisp outside and extremely juicy and flavorful. We loved them. Tried them a second time and felt the same way. There a bit more expensive, at least at the time we purchased them, than the gala apples but moving forward we will be buying these.

Saturated with insecticide

I was startled and very disappointed when I got home and opened this bag and was blasted by the strong smell of insecticide. I have bought these before and this had never happened. Insecticide doses are becoming higher and higher in food these days. I soaked the apples in dish soap with no improvement then with straight vinegar with no improvement. I had to throw them out. I also ended up getting my money back. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

Freshness is hit or miss.

My family absolutely loves Honeycrisp apples. We buy them by the bag when the price is running well. Only problem is that it is a crap shoot picking apples that are not rotten (inside). They sometimes look wonderful when you inspect the bag, but when you cut one open it has already gone bad. We have had this happen on a few occasions.
