Love these apples and I hesitated because I thought these were small the last time I purchased them. I tried again and these were just perfect as it’s the last thing my husband and I split at night between us with the dogs getting a few bites too. This last bag of honeycrisp apples are the type I hope I can get all the time.

We normally love the honey crisp apples. This bag had two that already had spots of rot on them. The flavor of the ones we tried to eat had an earthy essence. We ended up throwing them all away. We did order online and pick up, maybe they were dropped into he floor or something that caused some to be rotten when we got them??

I was startled and very disappointed when I got home and opened this bag and was blasted by the strong smell of insecticide. I have bought these before and this had never happened. Insecticide doses are becoming higher and higher in food these days. I soaked the apples in dish soap with no improvement then with straight vinegar with no improvement. I had to throw them out. I also ended up getting my money back. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

Have bought several bags of these, and the apples are in excellent shape. They're quite large - I would have preferred smaller - but considering they're consistently sweet and in excellent condition, I'll continue buying them. They compare favorably against most others in the market.

My husband loves the apples. I fear my honest, good reports have resulted in our membership prices increasing. My husband and I are senior citizens on fixed income and have cherished the privilege of being able to order and pickup our items and also having the PLUS enable us to get our deliveries. We’re no longer able to maneuver going into the store as we were, so we were so thankful to be able to continue shopping at Sam’s. Now, with the increase, we’re probably not going to be able to enjoy this advantage anymore, because, in the past, our orders have not always been $50.00. So, we will have to look for an avenue that best suits our situation. We have been members for forty plus years.

These honeycrisp apples are delicious. They have a nice crunch to them and the sweet/tart taste that I love. I usually buy either honeycrisp or envy as both of these apples have the crispness and sweet/tart blend that is perfect for eating or baking. I like to spread a thin layer of peanut butter on each slice. I always make sure the apples look shiny and fresh. When the apple skin looks more dull yellow, it's not going to taste as good and the flesh will be softer and the peel a bit chewy.

These apples are absolutely the best tasting I’ve ever had. Soo juicy and the perfect combination of sweetness and tartness. Sure, they are the most expensive, but when they’re the best, they are worth it. Now…if only they could keep them from bruising and rotting in the bag, everything would be great!

Honeycrisp are the preferred variety in my opinion. Price per volume is excessive by a little bit. I’ve tried the other apple varieties offered and they taste like sadness to be honest. So I continue to buy these although I’ve had a percentage of bad bags of apples.

Second time in two months that I had to return due to rotten/bruised apples (did order pickup). 50% of the bag were bruised beyond use, and one was so damaged it had leaked over the others and made everything sticky. Only 5 apples were salvageable. If you go in the store, there are usually some good bags. Sam's needs to teach their shoppers how to pick the best produce for pick up like Smiths/Kroger does, or they will continue to have to refund orders.

They are large, fresh and sweet. They go well with some natural peanut butter. If they were only organic it would be even better. I'm just glad they are consistently good. We've thrown out a lot of bad tasting apples from other brands in the past.
