Good taste, right size.

Specifically purchased to make apple pie. The apples in the pie did not get soft and mushy, it had a good texture & crispness. One bag + one larger apple could make two 9” pies.

Usually very satisfied with purchases at Sam’s but when I opened bag a few days later all the apples had bruises ( not over ripe ) as though mishandled in packing or handling . Didn’t bring them back since it was not discovered until 2 or 3 days after purchase . Apples aren’t cheap nearly 7 dollars . Didn’t get my money worth at all .☹️

I typically avoid pre-packaged apples as being smaller and lesser quality than the ones I would choose from a bin. These apples are an exception, being of excellent size and quality. I use a variety of apple types to make applesauce for grandkids (and me) and these ave provided excellent affordable value.
