Buying in bulk helps us to afford steak as a treat

With inflation being so high, we no longer go out to a restaurant for steak dinners. We buy various different cuts of steaks in bulk which helps our budget a lot. We portion them into freezer bags to eat as a treat every now and then. This ribeye was cooked on our charcoal grill and is very delicious!

Awesome quality

I recently purchased the USDA Choice Boneless Ribeye Steak from Sam’s Club, and I must say, I was quite impressed with the quality and flavor of this cut. As a steak enthusiast, I often seek out the best options for grilling and this ribeye did not disappoint. Quality: The first thing I noticed was the marbling. The ribeye had a beautiful distribution of fat, which is essential for flavorful and tender meat. The USDA Choice label assures customers of its quality, and I found the marbling to be on par with steaks found at specialty butcher shops. Taste: Once cooked, the steak delivered a rich and juicy flavor. I seasoned it simply with salt and pepper to allow the natural flavors to shine through. Grilled to a perfect medium-rare, the meat was tender and buttery, with that mouthwatering experience that only a good ribeye can provide. Each bite was filled with that quintessential beef flavor, making it a satisfying meal. Cooking: I appreciated how easily this steak cooked. It seared beautifully on the grill and developed a nice crust, which added to the overall texture and taste. For anyone looking to impress at a dinner party or a backyard barbecue, this ribeye is a fantastic choice. It’s forgiving in terms of cooking time and is almost foolproof for achieving that perfect doneness if you keep an eye on it. Value: In terms of price, the ribeye from Sam’s Club is quite competitive compared to local butcher shops. Considering the quality you're getting, this steak offers excellent value for money. A family pack is convenient as it allows for multiple meals, and the quality remains consistent across the cuts. Overall Impression: I highly recommend the USDA Choice Boneless Ribeye Steak from Sam's Club for anyone who loves a good steak. It combines quality, flavor, and value in a way that is hard to beat. Whether you’re planning a special dinner or just want to treat yourself to a delicious meal at home, this ribeye is sure to elevate your dining experience. I will definitely be returning for more!

Very disappointed

I was very disappointed in this purchase. I usually only buy my meat at Sam’s because the quality is always the best. I bought this to take all the guys trip. We were so disappointed when we realized that we could barely cut the meat. It was extremely tough. I’m not sure what happened here because normally I’m very happy with my mistakes from Sam’s

Great tasting steaks; Easy to grill

Used a special homemade marinade for the steaks. They are a large cut so, had them marinate overnight. Grilled four min on each side then back on first side to have nice crisscrossed searing marks. Steaks were delicious. Sams never disappoints. I buy all my meat at Sam's. Great quality at a better price than local grocers for the same product.'

Ribeye conisouers

Over all good this time. Usually buy 3 packs of 3 every 2 weeks. The time before last they were terrible like breakfast steaks ... Thin and not labeled thin cut I don't think we're right. But this time and prior before the other we get quality steaks in prime ribeye section.b

Not the best steak I ever had

Bought the least expensive ribeyes @ $12.00 per pound. We like our steaks med rare which almost always produces a tender, juicy steak. These steaks were beautiful in the package but did not grill well. Steaks were tough and lacked flavor, I should have returned them but food items are such a hassle to return, I guess we should have got the $17 a pound steaks, maybe those would be better? We are going to find a local butcher for meat from now on.

We used to have ribeyes all the time two years ago. Like most people, the price of these now is just too much. I purchased these yesterday, because two steaks were $25. We grilled them and they were delicious! Not thin either. Marbling was excellent. I will buy again.

The best meat department ever.

Your workers in the meat department a second to none. Love them. The steak cuts and the meat are great. Every year I treat my family to the prime rib roast but never knew the meat department would cut the roast into steaks for me. I am thrilled. I got just what I wanted. Your people are great! I will so get the same next year.

Very Good Beef Cuts

Sam's is where I normally buy beef cuts when I want good quality beef. I have to go to a stand alone butcher to get any better quality beef and at a much higher premium price. My only niggle with the meat department is that the boneless rib eyes are generally a bit thin for my preference, or I have to buy the monster "cowboy bone in" rib eye That I debone myself. But these boneless were fine at the thickness for my use.

Not the place to get meat anymore

Used to be Sam’s’s meat department was a reliable source for quality meat at a fair price. Not anymore. The steaks I bought were just ok in terms of marbling, cut, and selection. I had to dig through dozens to find even that! Package after package of one good steak and two bad ones. Huge fat chunks, cut like a door stop so guaranteed not to cook evenly. And don’t get me started on how Sam’s is packaging chicken. Disgusting!
