Delicious spinach!

We love spinach at our house and this makes it so easy to enjoy and serve. The box is packed with fresh spinach leave for a quick salad. It is also delicious added chopped to our favorite egg recipes, topping for a pizza, or in the winter added to a simmering pot of soup. If I can’t use it all fresh, I throw it in a resealable bag and freeze for use in cooked dishes or smoothies.

Pay attention to expiration dates

The expiration date was the date after I picked this up. I wish the employees picking out items for my order would pay attention to the date. Much of it was bad and I couldn’t eat the rest of it within 24 hours so I ended up throwing it away. Total waste of money.

some of the leaves were oddly shaped

I did not use most of this since after opening I noticed that a lot of the leaves were oddly shaped. Not sure if another type of lettuce got mixed in...because I was using this in a dish that required steamed spinach I didn't want to take the risk. What I did eat of it tasted good and would purchase in the future. I will be sure to check the contents beforehand to make sure it is just spinach inside

Ok if you use it up fast

I don't know how fresh the spinach is when I purchased it, but I can't let it sit in the fridge at all or it will turn slimy very fast, so I bring it home and freeze it in smaller packages for my smoothies. For that is is ok, but I wish it was fresher.

bugs

just that some brands like this and similar containered ones contain one or two bugs or their pieces that tell me they don’t clean the leaves as they should for example if they put the leaves in large water body, separates the bugs but that step is missed in most expect I observe taylor farms get washed very well in a lot times just wanted to share

Rotten, yuk

We ordered this through curbside pickup so we did not have a chance to look at dates or condition of the spinach. But when we got it home and opened it the next day, the spinach was slimy, rotting. They gave us one with a date that was expiring the very next day. Had we known that was the case, we would not have bought it! Don't buy this if you are ordering online!

Disappointed

I've purchased this Spinach for years and the leaves seem to be getting bigger. Not sure it qualifies as "Baby" Spinach anymore. Also it's mostly stalk. I started cutting the excess stalk off and there is hardly any Spinach. I'm probably going back to grocery store spinach since you get about the same amount for $5 and don't have to spend the time cutting off the stalk.

Tender little greens

Love having a big tubby full of leafy greens. The price is a huge incentive to grab a container from Sams. Love they sell Earthbound Farms. We’ve never had a bad batch. Always fresh and tender! Only drawback is you need to be careful how you open the package…if you’re not careful, the seal can be pulled away, first time you open, which will make resealing impossible. We learned from experience.

Last longer than the date on the package, if stored in a cold fridge. Great cooked or raw. Toss it in a glad box, shred it a little with your hands, sprinkle a little Kosher salt, pepper, add cut cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, celery, and any left over meat or fish from last night and voilà, you're good to go. I'll drizzle ranch or just olive oil and call it lunch.

Spinach

Spinach is consistently at the top of the "dirty dozen" list of produce sprayed with pesticides, so even though I don't buy everything organic, organic spinach is a must. I am very happy to be able to get a good amount for a good price at Sam's. It has always been fresh and lasts in the refrigerator for about a week.
