The past few times we have purchased this product, a large portion of the spinach leaves are slimy and have gone bad the very next day. We are 5 minutes from our Sam’s store and keep the package refrigerated. We always check package dating whisk usually indicates a week or more of expected shelf life. Very disappointed.

I buy this brand of organic baby spinach every few weeks. This time, the product hasn't spoiled quickly as it sometimes does, so I've gotten use of most of it + a great price. The sell by date is often has only several days left b/f it starts going bad. I do p/u, so can't go inside & make sure I get the longest use date. But it's still inexpensive enough that even if I lost 1/2 a carton, it's still a good buy.

Last longer than the date on the package, if stored in a cold fridge. Great cooked or raw. Toss it in a glad box, shred it a little with your hands, sprinkle a little Kosher salt, pepper, add cut cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, celery, and any left over meat or fish from last night and voilà, you're good to go. I'll drizzle ranch or just olive oil and call it lunch.

I did not use most of this since after opening I noticed that a lot of the leaves were oddly shaped. Not sure if another type of lettuce got mixed in...because I was using this in a dish that required steamed spinach I didn't want to take the risk. What I did eat of it tasted good and would purchase in the future. I will be sure to check the contents beforehand to make sure it is just spinach inside
