Easy to put together. So beautiful to look at. Added feature, you can sit on it. The ease of opening box, and the spring action hinges are excellent for it to stay open, and not hit you in the head. I love it so much. And customer service representatives are wonderful to work with.

Well I’ve owned many other Lifetime products over the years, such as their picnic table, folding chairs and folding tables, this product simply does not live up to the Lifetime brand name. Let me start by saying I would agree with the other reviewer‘s who mention the poor assembly process. There are no pre-drilled holes for the bolts that hold the lid together. Also, be sure to have a entire ratchet set handy, as apparently lifetime thought it would be appropriate to have different size bolts and hex nuts for this project. The lid itself does not close flush. Like many other reviewers, I assemble this in my garage on a flat surface. There’s no reason why after my assembly the lid should not close flush. Furthermore the walls are made of a much thinner plastic the most Lifetime products I’ve experienced. The only reason I’m giving this to stars instead of one is the fact that I pick this up for $99 at Costco. If this were $250 like Lifetime’s website suggests, do yourself a favor and walk away now.

This deck box is made of tough materials; is of excellent quality, and it looks great on my outdoor deck. It also required a solid five hours to assemble and required many tools, to include a power drill. But the hard work was worth it because I know personally how strong this box is. It was engineered well, but there are some typos and missing information in the instructions. I believe that the amount of work needed to assemble the box allowed for stronger materials at a good price, so it was worth the effort. I am very pleased.

It looks really sturdy and it’s a great size. It does make a really loud sound when closing and wears trying to figure out what’s. It quite right. There are several screws that screws into spots that didn’t have predrilled holes and even ended up sticking out oddly. Those instructions shud also have explained and spelled that out when they only said, “don’t tighten fully,” it would have made a huge difference. The cover was slightly damaged but we assembled it anyway and hope to get a lot of good use from it., regardless. I don’t think itye time and effort to replace it would have been worth the effort.

I bought this box last night. Really impressed by the price, and it's weight makes it easy to move around. Also very well made. Very easy to assemble, I had it all good to go in less than 45 minutes. My only problem was that I seem to have incorrect threads on a few of the nuts and bolts. Problem solved by another packet of bolts. I was hoping it was made in the US, as the company is American, but alas, it's made in China.

I bought the box to store chair cushions. It holds all of them plus more. Assembly was relatively easy. I had no issues with installing the screws as there are dimples in the plastic for proper placement. My only issue was installing the pumps. The instructions say “press hard.” That is an understatement. Eventually the tabs on one end of each pump bent and they need to be replaced. I will be contacting the company about this issue. Other than that I am very pleased with the product.

I have photos but it’s not letting me upload them. I finally put the storage box together. The assembly is difficult and the instructions kinda suck. The plastic does NOT have pre-drilled holes so you need to use a drill. The lid assembly was difficult the bar that goes across it needs a sticker saying front right & front left so the holes can line up correctly. If you are having trouble lining it up just turn it around. Not upside down just turn it. I have not used it outside yet so I don’t have a review on that part.

What great quality!! This is my first time purchasing a Lifetime brand deck box. I ended up buying three of them after I saw how nice they were compared to previous brands I purchased! OMG, the 116 gallon model is a wonderful size. Everything assembled lined up perfectly. 100% recommend this model, and frankly, any Lifetime product! They have an excellent warranty too!

Problem #1: the slot for the Lid Support was too small. Had to use strong scissors to enlarge it. Problem #2: the nuts to attach the latch to the lid were impossible to tighten. Carried on, as we don’t plan to lock the box. Problem #3: Four screws DQS to secure the suport to the lid were too large. Used screws we had on hand instead. Problem #4: Holes in hinges for screws DRF too small. Got out the workbench, clamps and drill and carefully enlarged the holes. Problem #5: Realized it would be impossible to attach the hinges to the side panels because of the previously discovered problem with the nuts and bolts BES/AAB. So we had to make a trip to the hardware store to get replacements. We started this project at 9:00 am, thinking we would be finished before the World Cup Final (and the heat of the day as we are in the midst of an extreme heat alert). With all the additional work to find substitutes, fix manufacturing faults and make a trip to the hardware store, (and taking a break to watch the World Cup final and have some lunch) we didn’t finish until 2:30 pm. And we were only able to finish at all because we have a fairly good collection of tools and hardware.

just like the other reviews, the assembly was ridiculous. Needed to drill my own holes, walls don't line up. After 4 hour assembly, the lid does not shut properly. I'm sure lifetime will say, "I'm sorry you had difficulty, send pictures." In the end, its just a piece of crap product.
