I saw this at Costco, and after reading the reviews I ended up buying it. It is exactly what we've been looking for! After the crazy storms that came through it was bone dry inside and didn't move at all. I love that I can lock it when going out of town, it was pretty easy for husband to assemble, and it holds our deck items perfectly!

This review is not for the product as I haven't really used my storage box yet, but is on the customer service I received when I called them for 2 replacement gas shock parts. Nathan was excellent!!! Nothing more to say - great service, swift execution, parts replaced free of charge.

I purchased my trusty Lifetime Deck Box for use on our rooftop deck. As luck would have it, Chicago was weeks away from one of the toughest winters in years. While nearby lawn furniture collapsed and cracked and even portions of my neighbor's roof gave way, my Lifetime Deck Box took the worst that mother nature could dish out and shrugged it off like a champ... my tools, supplies and assorted nick nacks literally looked as if they'd been stored inside all season, while gale force winds, feet of snow and ice crystals were swirling overhead. An absolutely solid investment. Thanks

I bought this deck box 6 years ago & it has been in the direct sunlight all of those summers. I have never had a problem, but the gas springs finally broke. Customer Service is replacing them under the 10 year warranty. Great product support. I bought 2 more Lifetime Deck Boxes last year because I was so satisfied with the first one.

I have had this storage box in my backyard for over three years. It has full expose to the elements. There has been no water noted inside the storage box, even after the heaviest rains. Additionally, there has been no warping or misalignment of the lid over the years. I am very happy with this purchase. Jeff in Maryland

Looks great on the porch and now we can store our patio cushions and gardening supplies without having to run to the garage for everything. Received in great condition but the corrugated box it was in was damaged and we ended up missing a part. Lifetime sent us a replacement part at no cost to us!

All my hardware (screws, bolts, hinges, hydraulic lift arms) totally rusted after 1st winter and hydraulic arms failed. Otherwise, nice box, nice size, plastic still looks good after being out in Texas sun! I have noted other products coming from China the metal hardware is cheap and rusts.

I bought this deck box from the Lifetime Retail Store for my deck. It works great, and was very easy to put together. I also really like that it can double as a bench, because we have it on our deck and it works great as storage and an extra place to sit.

just like the other reviews, the assembly was ridiculous. Needed to drill my own holes, walls don't line up. After 4 hour assembly, the lid does not shut properly. I'm sure lifetime will say, "I'm sorry you had difficulty, send pictures." In the end, its just a piece of crap product.

I purchased my deck box to accommodate Culligan's delivery of our 5 gallon water bottles at the back door of our residence. The size of the box is perfect for the bulk water containers. A couple of sand bags will keep the box in place on windy days when the water bottles are empty. Once I'm sure of the position of the box I may anchor it to the concrete patio floor. I thought the assembly was quite simple with the use of a small drill using a 5/32 drill bit for creating pilot holes in the plastic panels, appropriate end wrenches. and a ratchet wrench and appropriate sockets. My only advise would be to use gentle pressure when torquing lag bolts and screws to avoid stripping the screw holes. I quite enjoyed a leisurely assembly process without the need for help. The stats on this Lifetime model 60089 patio box indicates the color is brown. Mine is definitely not brown but rather it's more like a distinguished dark charcoal grey. For that I couldn't be happier as that was the color I would have preferred. When shopping for this patio box I settled on Lifetime brand based on the durability and functionality of many Lifetime utility tables and chairs that I've purchased over the years. Preliminary indications are that I'll be just as happy with this box.
