Although the meat was good and tender, by the time it was dressed out with tons of fat removed, the price per pound almost doubled. There was almost as much unedible fat hidden underneath as there was meat.

Although the meat has a great taste the extra 2 1/8 lbs of fat which had to be trimmed of does not make it worth buying at 23.33 a pound. So deducting the fat cost I paid 33.08 cents per pound.

Trimmed fat and smoked on pellet grill until temperature hit 125 degrees. Best beef we’ve ever had.

Bought 3 of these for Christmas dinner with my sister and family. I sous vided them to 130 degees. Then on the 600 griil to sear them. Really great.

This tenderloin was absolutely delicious! We marinated it for 24 hours and seared it then smoked it on the green egg and it was so delicious!

We had this for Christmas. Made a tenderloin roast which was perfect. There was enough left for 6 filets and some stew meat. This was a fantastic buy, and I plan to buy again next year!
