Although the meat was good and tender, by the time it was dressed out with tons of fat removed, the price per pound almost doubled. There was almost as much unedible fat hidden underneath as there was meat.

This is the second year I have let Sam’s Club shopper select my beef tenderloin for me instead of heading into the store myself to choose it. I have been purchasing these tenderloins for several years now and saving tons of money by trimming it myself. The beef is always wonderful and I would highly recommend you learn how to trim your own tenderloin and buy it from SAM’S CLUB!!

This tenderloin was absolutely delicious! We marinated it for 24 hours and seared it then smoked it on the green egg and it was so delicious!

Dinner was wonderful. The butcher was so professional. Trimmed and tied the tenderloin and gave great recommendations.

Bought 3 of these for Christmas dinner with my sister and family. I sous vided them to 130 degees. Then on the 600 griil to sear them. Really great.

The tenderloin was very tender when grilled, had very little waste on it and we had several meals out of the one tenderloin.

The quality of this meat is exceptional and you can’t beat the price. You get the entire filet at a fraction of what you would spend in a high end restaurant.

I know it's supposed to be tender, which it was, and it has excellent flavor!
