There have been problems with the last 2 sets of 24 ct. bar towels I have gotten from Sam's Club. I would estimate that 1/2 of the 24 towels have defects. These problems have included; seams not sewn-resulting in the towels unraveling to the point of not being able to use them, holes in the towels or the towels so thin they do no last, and frayed hems even when they are sewn.

Great for use around the house. Use in the kitchen while preparing food, use as a napkin/bib when snacking during movie time. Once they start wearing out use for cleaning around the house. The only suggestion is to wash them a few times prior to use, the dryer lint trap was full from just washing this one pack and nothing else. It will also soften them up.

When I first started buying these, they were a good product, but they are sorely lacking now. Used to be you would get a few washings from the before they started unraveling, but now they seem to shred at the first wash, using the same washing setup. For price, they're ok, but if you want last ability, steer clear of these.

I first purchased Member's Mark bar mop towels 2.5 years ago. Back then I was impressed with the towels. A month ago I purchased them again as my old ones were looking grungy. The new bar mop towels are coming unraveled every time I wash them. I am concerned about the longevity of the towels. At this point, I do not believe I will purchase Member's Mark bar mop towels in the future. I give it 3 stars because 24 towels for <$15 is pretty cheap. I just wish these were the same quality as the towels I purchased 2 years ago.

Purchased these to use as paper towel substitutes when no paper towels were available. We keep them in a stacks for quick use. When lightly soiled we put them in a large bucket to soak before washing for reuse. The heavy soiled ones may or may not go into the trash. They are used in the garage. The ones dedicated for kitchen use are cut in half to make them easier to wash dishes, clean the counter tops, and wipe down the stove top. I will purchase more of this product.

A few years back, these were a good buy, but now, not so much. I'm finding that after just a single washing, the ends fray badly. Who ever does the QC on these has slipped, or they are selling a very cheaply made product. Either way, these are getting to be a single use product, rather than one that can be washed and reused more than once.

This is my second purchase of the bar mops in about 15 years. They are a great hand towel in the kitchen as well as perfect size for cleaning dishes, walls, appliances, cabinets, car, floors, etc. They are very durable even after getting a hole from snags or mishaps. As they are white, they can clean most dirt and then wash up great with bleach added.

I started using these bar mops for my barbecue hobby and other cooking endeavors several years ago. I keep stacks of them on the ready when I’m in the kitchen or at the pit. Similar to having shop cloths in my garage, in my opinion these are absolutely indispensable when I’m cooking. Paper towels have their place and I use my share but these mops are very absorbent and 1000 times better for wiping/drying hands, wiping up a spill, handling hot pans, utensils or food or using as a trivet - there’s always a stack of clean dry towels within reach. Start with a clean one, use it for all kinds of stuff and then chuck it into a basket or what have you. My laundry is next to the kitchen so I keep the washer lid open and give these a toss right in. Margin note: These able to be bleached is a big + for me. My wife has her nicer kitchen towels but doesn’t want to stain, bleach or otherwise wreck them, so in watching me with the mops as we were cooking, was immediately on board. These get wrecked and boom -> straight into the trash - no loss. Get another package.

These bar mops are a good addition to my rental kitchens but have gotten skimpy in last year

Less than a dollar a piece. If they hold up I will be back to buy more for kitchen towels
