Absorb liquids? Fail. Thickness and ridges are good for greasy clean-ups. After 10+ months of washing (without fabric softener), remains durable but still does not absorb liquids; a simple water spill cannot be dried with these towels. Very dissatisfied with this bulk-buy from Sam's club.

They absorb real well, well worth the price.

Terrible quality. After the FIRST wash half of them unraveled.

Have used for years and great in the kitchen and when they become too soiled can be used for rags to work on vehicles.

I bought these to use around the house for cleaning and in the kitchen. I was skeptical because some of the reviews weren't great, but I really like them. They wash up good, no fraying, good size. Not much to complain about honestly.
