This pillow is for side sleepers and is a little higher than normal. At first it felt firm but as I slept on it, it felt like it got softer. I think the heat from your head makes the memory foam softer or it just conforms to the shape of your head and feels softer. I had to take the case off when I first got it and let it air out to get rid of the memory foam smell. All in all I am happy with the pillow.

Sam’s was having a one day sale and I bought this on a whim. I have recently been having horrible neck pain in the mornings after sleeping all night and have tried multiple new pillows without relief. The price was great so I ordered the pillow because I am a side sleeper. I am thrilled with the product. The last three mornings I have woken up pain free after sleeping restfully all three nights. I would totally buy this product again.

I bought one of these pillows about a year ago because I was looking for a substantial pillow that would really support my neck when I sleep and not flatten over time. This pillow works like a dream! I sleep with it every night and don't get the kind of neck headaches I used to AND it retained it's original shape. I just bought another one and gave one to a friend for Christmas. Really, it's a fantastic pillow.

Ok I am not one to do this but there was a few things. First of all this was delivered in just a plastic bag which makes me nervous, second the smell smacked me right in the face. Almost like a wet paint smell... third mine has giant chunks out of the memory foam, i dont know if that is normal or not? Almost like it had air pockets in the mold. I have another Serta Memory Foam pillow that has the raised sides for neck support and it had 0 scent to it. I like the thickness of this pillow and the feel of it when i lay my head on it but i dont know if i can get past the smell.

This was receives in a clear bag with a “serta” logo and some gibberish notes. It was not in the Serta Box as advertised. First Red Flag. After taking out of the bag it jad a strong chemical smell 2nd Red Flag and it puffed ip to the shape of a football. I tried to use it but it wasnt Possible. With the smell and the neck cramped up i called and the nice lady issues a refund for this. I do not recommend.

I purchased this when it was only $15. I needed a new pillow as I just recently became a side sleeper and my old pillow wasn't cutting it anymore. I saw this one and decided to give it a try! I will agree with others, the scent was a bit much but since I have a Tempur-Pedic bed, I knew the odor would go away. I was right. After a couple of nights sleep, the odor is gone and I my sleeps have been wonderful! Yeah, this pillow probably isn't for everyone but it worked for me!!

I love this pillow. It's like sleeping on a brand new pillow every night The gel is awesome. I wasn't sure about it, but it "warms up" after a minute or so. If you need to feel cool again, just flip it over. I have one at home and one at my parents house for when I visit. Again, I just love this pillow!

It was in many of the reviews, but still shocked me! The smell right out of the packaging was terrible!! So bad, I put it out on the back porch every day for more than a week (had nice, breezy weather and the pillow itself is a substantial weight so it didn't blow over!) before I'd allow it in the house. (It had to be mentioned!) But, that being said, this pillow is fabulous! It allows height for your shoulder when on your side, so your head is aligned and not pitched downward. Great sleep! Absolutely recommend. Happy about the warranty too. Worth the price.

I mostly fall asleep on my side but apparently I turn on my back as I woke up with neck cramps in the middle of the night. Two nights in a row! Even though the price was right on this(we got it on sale), no one is using it in out house. There only reason I gave it a 2 star was because it is well made and comfy at first.

I just received this pillow, and it came in ONLY a clear--UNSEALED--plastic bag--the bag was wide OPEN--yuck! It should have been in a BOX (sealed), like it's pictured on the site! The pillow looks like it might be used, and ALSO--the blue foam inside is all pitted--it has various sizes of "holes" in the foam--not smooth, like the advertised picture shows! You can actually see the pitted holes through the pillow covering. Even the tags are wrinkled--they should be smooth and new. It also has an odd smell to it. Just plain GROSS!! ALSO--the pillow I received has light blue trim--not even sure if it is the correct pillow--no information to say that it is a Side-Sleeper pillow!
