This pillow is super firm and offers great head/neck support for side sleepers. (Not for back sleeping so much.) HOWEVER... as you sleep, it warms up and holds the heat in. HOTTTTTTTT! I have to flip/turn the pillow many, many times each night to try to cool off, which means I'm waking up a lot, which means it's not a great night's sleep. So, there you have it. This would be a FIVE STAR rating, if it weren't for how hot it makes me.

I bought this to replace my older neck support pillow made from foam. It provided absolutely no neck support and within minutes I was flat as a pancake. I awoke with a terrible migraine. Our Serta memory Forman mattress was terrible and returned in 6 months. MO MORE MEMORY FOAM!

Best pillow for side sleepers. We've tried several brands and always the latest trend, but this pillow cradles your neck and head, supporting without being stiff. It's an excellent buy and the shipping was fast, even during the holiday season. A must buy.

The pillow is certainly a good quality gel filled memory foam, but it is a bit uncomfortable for me because it is too high for my head/neck even when sleeping on my side. The foam does not compress enough for my head to be level, so my neck stays at a funny angle. Perhaps a person with a larger frame would fit this pillow, but it is uncomfortable for me. I now use it as a spare pillow. The "memory foam smell" went away in a couple of days.

I've tried all different kinds of pillows and have never been completely satisfied... until now. This pillow is both soft and firm, if that makes sense. It's hard to explain, but it has the right amount of softness so that it cradles your head and neck. Yet there is enough firmness that your head and neck are supported. It is soooo comfortable. But the thing I like best is it STAYS THAT WAY. I've had pillows that were quite comfortable when I first got them, but in a few months they start getting flat and/or hard. I've had this pillow for many months & its' as comfortable as when I first got it. It is THE BEST pillow I've ever had & even better, it didn't cost me an arm & leg. LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this pillow, it cradles the head perfectly. It is not lumpy nor does it go flat. The only thing is I wish it comes in a Queen size, but no worry that is not enough to return, perhaps the standard size is a "trial run" to test the market for a trial to see if it will be successful (?) Love Love

It's a more dense memory foam. Very good for side back and front sleepers because it gives with your weight but it doesn't sink to the bottom. Bought it to replace a previous pillow that was dense memory foam, this is best one I could find. I also use it as breast feeding pillow, works awesome!

I'm a little disappointed in this product. This sleeper pillow is flat compared to other Serta's cooling pillows-I have to have two pillows underneath to sleep comfortable which defeats the purpose of it keeping you cool. However; my dogs love sleeping on it!

I only buy gel memory foam pillows. I have never had an issue with buying Serta in the past. I ordered 2 of these pillows and I was very disappointed when they arrived in the mail and noticed they seemed smaller than normal (after putting it in my pillow case it is definitely a few inches shorter). I opened one up and used it for the night. It was a lot softer of a pillow than any other pillow I have had. I noticed a few days later the foam has large bubble holes in it? Seems like low quality. I ended up returning the 1 pillow I didn't open.

Can't beat this side sleeper pillow. Forms to your head to get the most restful sleep. Not to hard or to soft. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the fact it is a smaller size pillow and I am still getting used to it. For the sale price I got , I shouldn't really complain. Very happy with this purchase.
