I too had the interior hardware rust on my double rotating compost bin. I was on the phone with the Lifetime customer service representative and he kindly, and quickly agreed to send me all the parts I need to replace the hardware free of charge! It was a great interaction in this day and time where customer service seems to be almost non- exsistent. Thank you!!

So far, this is a great composter. It took a bit to put together, but it seems very well made. I really like the idea of having two bins, with one always cooking. They are a good height, and the wide opening makes it easy to load leaves and clippings with a shovel. They are very easy to turn, with a good latching system. They also have a very large capacity, which I really like. I already have one bin full and cooking and am working on the other bin. Really seems to be a great product.

We've had this product for a number of years. I part became unsoldered so I ordered a replacement. The cost was very reasonable and I was happy to order it, only to learn that Lifetime would be sending me the part (along with several addition parts) free of charge. I am very pleased with this item. I’d watched a neighbor produce an abundance of beautifully rich compost during the past several years so I had to try. The bins arrived with a couple of broken pieces which I quickly took pictures and emailed them to the company. I received a very quick response inquiring where to send the parts. They arrived within a couple of days and my bins are complete and operational. I couldn’t ask for better support. The parts fit exactly as they should, they are sturdy, yet not overly heavy. The metal legs provide good support and, so far, the bins are easy to turn, top is very accessible and locks easily hold bins from turning. With the bins raised off the ground, I anticipate wheeling a barrow under the bin, then rotating the bin to empty out the rich compost I expect to produce. It looks like a very well engineered design.

I bought a dual composter some years ago. I very much have enjoyed this product, but over time, A lot of the metal pieces had rusted. I called customer service and the agent was great. He was able to track down the parts I needed, and is sending them on their way .

Love my double composter and the customer service at lifetime is excellent. A live person answers the phone and are very knowledgable regarding the parts or information about the LIFETIME products. I recommend LIFETIME the support is there after the purchase.

We own the double bin Composter and the metal parts rust after a year or so. The latch is completely rusted through on one side. I called for replacement parts and the agent told me the parts are on back order and it would be one to two months to get them from China. I saw reviews on this product and most were the same-rusted parts. The agent was courteous and knowledgeable, He said they would replace the parts for free.

I called Lifetime to order the the parts to repair the locking mechanism. Customer Service was able to identify all the parts needed and provided them as a customer service. I received the parts as scheduled and was able to repair our double composter without any problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using them for 6 months and am getting great results, easy to fill and keeping rats etc out, I am able to remove simple bins and my garden looks more organized and tidy. I also find it easy to load the compost into a wheelbarrow, I am developing raised beds and would not be able to fill without my Rotating Compost Bins . I also must state that it is so clean an simple to use. I find it easy to clean and keep using.

We bought a dual composted years ago. The hinges have rusted and one no longer works. I contacted Lifetime and they are sending replacement parts at no charge.
