I bought a "factory second" double 50 gallon bin rotating composter. I was a bit hesitant on buying a factory second, but the people at the store assured me that if I was missing anything they would make it right. I was missing a package of the plastic connectors that holds the sides together (3 in total). I was able to talk to Devin at customer service who set me up with the parts that I needed. It's good to see a company who takes such good care of their customers. I would think people in a customer service department who deals with customers not getting what they need to build the product they bought may have problems dealing with problems day in and day out for weeks on end. I did not get the feeling Devin was this way at all he was helpful and was able to get what I needed to finish my project. This is only one among many Lifetime products we have in our home. Everything from Kayaks to folding tables and chairs... I expect that my experience with this composter with be every bit as good.

Pros: Superb tech and parts support for issues with the composter. Using a tumbler is the easiest way to turn compost piles. Cons: For me, composting works best when the material is in contact with earth, rather than suspended above. Earth-contact composting works faster, makes better compost, and is less inclined to stink.

I bought a double composter many years ago at Costco. after years of use my hinges wore out. I called Lifetime customer support and the person was very nice and said no problem he would have new hinges shipped for free. That is customer support. I will buy from lifetime again.

I requested some replacement parts (hinge and lock lever) for my Lifetime Composter and this company is fabulous! Customer Service Agents Darwin and Terry responded quickly and provided me with the replacement parts I needed quickly, without any fuss. Highly recommend purchasing Lifetime products because this company stands behind its products and the customer service agents are outstanding!

My wife and I bought this two or three years ago. It's a bit of a task to assemble, but it went together well and functions well. Our only problem was the latch hardware becoming stiff due to corrosion after a year or so. Two or three times, I freed it up with spray lubricant. Finally one of latch assemblies broke due to corrosion. Looking at the web site, I learned that they redesigned the latch hardware with a corrosion-resistant coating - I am impressed that they stay with their products to continually improve them over time rather than dumping them on the market for a short sales cycle. We called Lifetime, and they have sent us replacement latch hardware at no cost. Thank-you!

A LIFETIME closed composting tumbler is the best way to compost. I don’t like open composting, turning compost with a pitchfork or shovel, because that stirs up too much dust and mold that gets into your respiratory system and onto your hair and clothes. Open composting also attracts rodents. Closed tumbler composting works faster, and having a double closed tumbling composter allows you to fill the second one while the first one is completing its processing. I enjoy bringing kitchen peelings out to my composters almost daily. It gets me outside to look at nature. It’s fascinating to see the breakdown process that results in wonderfully rich earthy compost to add to my garden. LIFETIME guarantees their products for life, and you can rely on them to follow through if there are any manufacturing defects. Lifetime is excellence! They quickly responded when I needed to replace the frozen rusty inside latches. I think they have redesigned the doors from hinged to sliders, which appear to be a better design that won’t rust. I’ve had this LIFETIME double tumbler for around 15 to 20 years and it’s sturdy. I also have a larger single LIFETIME tumbler for over 20 years that came with outside latches that seem to be good quality stainless steel, and so this tumbler with the stainless steel outside latches is a great design!

I bought a double bin composter some time ago. After some good use there were parts that needed replacements. Their customer service was great and willing to help replacing the parts even in the middle of a pandemic. Glad I made the choice of buying their product.

I called Lifetime to order the the parts to repair the locking mechanism. Customer Service was able to identify all the parts needed and provided them as a customer service. I received the parts as scheduled and was able to repair our double composter without any problems.

I bought a dual composter some years ago. I very much have enjoyed this product, but over time, A lot of the metal pieces had rusted. I called customer service and the agent was great. He was able to track down the parts I needed, and is sending them on their way .

I bought this two weeks ago and found there was a piece missing; I contacted the customer desk (in USA) asking for a replacement and it was shipped from the USA and arrived 5 days later. I was impressed. Rarely to I find a help desk so responsive and helpful. Putting it together was enjoyable if you are good at DIY but it does need two people some of the time. I was very impressed by the engineering and design to allow it be be built from flat pack.
