I bought this two weeks ago and found there was a piece missing; I contacted the customer desk (in USA) asking for a replacement and it was shipped from the USA and arrived 5 days later. I was impressed. Rarely to I find a help desk so responsive and helpful. Putting it together was enjoyable if you are good at DIY but it does need two people some of the time. I was very impressed by the engineering and design to allow it be be built from flat pack.

We own the double bin Composter and the metal parts rust after a year or so. The latch is completely rusted through on one side. I called for replacement parts and the agent told me the parts are on back order and it would be one to two months to get them from China. I saw reviews on this product and most were the same-rusted parts. The agent was courteous and knowledgeable, He said they would replace the parts for free.

This composter was bought as a gift for me. Within a year there was rust on the parts. 2ish years in and the lid rusted off. I called & spoke to the friendliest rep, Jonathan, who issued me an entire new hardware set in less than 20 minutes. Amazing. I like the composter and am happy they are sending replacement parts.

My wife and I bought this two or three years ago. It's a bit of a task to assemble, but it went together well and functions well. Our only problem was the latch hardware becoming stiff due to corrosion after a year or so. Two or three times, I freed it up with spray lubricant. Finally one of latch assemblies broke due to corrosion. Looking at the web site, I learned that they redesigned the latch hardware with a corrosion-resistant coating - I am impressed that they stay with their products to continually improve them over time rather than dumping them on the market for a short sales cycle. We called Lifetime, and they have sent us replacement latch hardware at no cost. Thank-you!

After years of trying to make good compost ,I came across this Composter . I must admit reading the article about Composter i thought it was to good to believe .But I still thought I would give it a go.As I have been trying to make good compost with various different methods off which none really worked..Well beleve me this Composter does what it says on the tin.It is just MAGIC. It makesGREAT compost which very little effort at all you just have to make sure you turn it regularly which is no bother.Gone hare the days of of back pain having to turn and empty bins and refill . thankyou gazza

I was pleased to find out that I could order parts that had rusted. Better yet!! They were replaced at no cost. I have had my composting bins for 3 to 5 years (can't remember exactly how many as time flies) and have great results versus the old fashioned way of just having a pile out back.

We have been using these composters for over five years without any problem until recently. The latching mechanism corroded through and bent. I neglected to read the advisory to keep the latch upright when done turning the drums. I called to order replacement parts to make a repair and they insisted on sending them free of charge. Great composter and even better company.

I bought a double bin composter some time ago. After some good use there were parts that needed replacements. Their customer service was great and willing to help replacing the parts even in the middle of a pandemic. Glad I made the choice of buying their product.

I've had the 100 gallon Double Bin Rotating Composter for several years. The hinges rusted and broke due to excess moisture where I have the bins. I contacted LIFETIME to order some hinges, and they sent them to me FREE OF CHARGE. Wow!! I asked how much and they said, while they're not covered in the warranty, we'll send them to you at no cost! And EVEN BETTER--they even sent me new bolt covers and all the necessary screws and nuts--THAT'S ABOVE AND BEYOND!! A LIFETIME closed composting tumbler is the best way to compost. I don’t like open composting, turning compost with a pitchfork or shovel, because that stirs up too much dust and mold that gets into your respiratory system and onto your hair and clothes. Open composting also attracts rodents. Closed tumbler composting works faster, and having a double closed tumbling composter allows you to fill the second one while the first one is completing its processing. I enjoy bringing kitchen peelings out to my composters almost daily. It gets me outside to look at nature. I also have a larger single LIFETIME tumbler for over 20 years that came with outside latches that seem to be good quality stainless steel, and so this tumbler with the stainless steel outside latches is a great design!
