I bought this composter more than a year ago. It does an excellent job of composting the materials. One of the hinges rusted through and broke. I contacted customer service and they ordered new hinges at no charge. This is a company that stands behind its products!

I purchased this product over 5 years ago. Love the fact that you can have one side "cooking" while filling the other. Came back to read recent reviews as I was thinking of replacing my unit due to rusting issues. Found that the parts I was having issues with had been upgraded on new models. I contacted customer service hoping to purchases replacement parts. Darwin from customer service went above and beyond. The replacement parts arrived today at no cost to me. Thank you!

A local school gave this composter to me and it needed a little doctoring. I called to order some parts and they were promptly delivered, GRATIS! Great customer service. Keep the metal greased and oiled and the tool will do you well. Thank You Lifetime.

It will be hard to say enough great things about the Customer Service Dept any Lifetime. They responded quickly and provided parts for this composter for a know issue. Way to stand behind your products. I will look for ways to buy more of your products in the future.

We purchased the dual composter two days ago and assembled it yesterday. The assembly instructions and the packaging of the parts were simply the best we have encountered. Everything was labelled and pictured clearly making assembly very easy. The quality and workmanship in the construction of the bins is superb. It is very sturdy and will last a long time. I look forward to using the rotating barrel and never having to turn my compost again!

This product is drop shipped by another company, when I received mine it was wrapped like a mummy in tape to cover all the holes in the worn out box. The company ( UnbeatableSale Inc.). Has a terrible return policy and it cost me 109.00 dollars to return this product. I never opened the box because it was in such bad shape and I could tell it wasn't fedex because of how the box was repaired. Why did I return it? Principle, a product in such bad shape obviously opened and returned before should never be shipped to another customer again. Oh and it has been a month since I returned it verified by fedex and still no refund.

I purchased this back in 2013. I have had this in full sun and eventually moved it to a partially shaded area, the plastic holds up really well. Since it was uncovered and exposed to the elements, the metal parts began rusting. I notified customer service and John sent out the parts asap and all free of charge! This company really backs up their products! I am truly satisfied!

Over the past few years I noticed that the locking handles were getting difficult to turn. Granted, my composter is out of the 5 year warranty period, but all of the hardware inside the composter barrels has rusted away to the point where it's falling apart. That latch mechanism has failed on one and is about ready to go on the other. All of the nuts, bolts, brackets and axel show heavy rusting. Clearly, these parts should be stainless steel, not carbon steel. Otherwise I am happy with the composter. It still looks fine on the outside and the frame is still in good condition. Looks like many others have had the same problem and the folks at Lifetime have sort of addressed the issue by coating the hardware with something.

These were great at first, but the hinges rusted out and fell apart in about a year. Lifetime sent me replacements, but then the latches and associated hardware began rusting and disintegrating. I fixed what I could at first to keep them in commission, but finally gave up on them when the bars rusted out. They have been all but useless for most of the time I've owned them.

Really like the ability to have two rotating chambers that can house compost in different degrees of completion. Rugged construction and the black housing attracts and retains heat. Rear hinge seized after 2 years but customer service is sending new ones, so I'm happy and satisfied.
