Our composer is about 5 or more years old, I contacted customer service hoping to purchase replacement parts, the person that responded said that they would provide all parts needed. They sent us the replacement parts and we are in business. Would highly recommend lifetime products, they definitely stand behind their products.

I have had my composter for 4+ years. It did take a long time to assemble. My pins to hold the barrels in place broke pretty shortly after we purchased it. All of the metal inside of the barrels began rusting shortly after we started using it. When it rains water gets inside of the lid, so when you tumble it you can hear water sloshing around inside of it. The closing mechanism has always been stiff but has been functional and served it's purpose, until today. One of the bars of the latch snapped off when I tried to turn it. It has composted a lot of soil over the last few years, but I don't think I will purchase this model again.

I have owned a dual tumbler for a number of years. This has out preformed all the other composter's I have ever tried. Material breaks down nicely and quickly. Most importantly to me the company stands behind the product like old American manufacturing companies used to. I have had a couple of parts breakdown and I had to replace. Lifetime has shipped the parts no questions asked, timely and at no cost! I highly recommend this company who truly stands behind its products!!

I purchased my dual tumbler about 3 years ago, I love it and it always turns my garbage into compost which is great for my garden. However my parts are rusty and the handles have broken off. I was extremely furious that this happened with how much it costs to purchase one of these. I don't see where I can buy replacement parts or file a warranty claim. Please help

The dual tumbler is about 4 years old. The hinge broke and i finally decided to replace it. Couldn;t find one that worked at the local hardware store so i decided to see if i could get one from Lifetime. To my surprise, not only can I get one, but I get it for free!! I just assumed once it was sold they would be like so many other manufacturers - it was mine at that point. Nice to be pleasantly surprised

Quite difficult to put together. If would have been very helpful if each panel had been marked with its part number. It definitely is a two person assembly. As to its function: supurb! Cooking has never been easier. The aeration is terrific from all sides as well as the center. As an added plus, there is no longer any heavy lifting and constant turning over to distribute oxygen. This is a best buy

Really like the ability to have two rotating chambers that can house compost in different degrees of completion. Rugged construction and the black housing attracts and retains heat. Rear hinge seized after 2 years but customer service is sending new ones, so I'm happy and satisfied.

We bought this double bin composter but are hugely disappointed. As many others have mentioned, the interior parts have rusted and have rendered this composter useless. The concept behind this composter is very good, rotating for example, but the execution is poor. I would not expect these parts to break after a few years.

Bought the dual compost tumbler product over 5 years ago. Works great! Had recently problems with rusty latches that were stuck in place similar to other posts. Called customer service and had better replacement parts sent. Now I can keep composting!!!

I purchased my first Lifetime Dual Composted last spring. It is ideal to have one composting while filling the second side. I have finally found something to keep the raccoons out! I purchased my second dual composted for my daughter at Christmas and she is just as thrilled as I am with the product. This is a must have product .
