Bruised. Didn’t show on outside but was there when peeled. A big turn off. I did like the fact that there was plastic wrap over the stems which is supposed to keep them from ripening too fast. Since I tossed them out after discovering the bruises I don’t know how effective the wrap was. Bottom line is that I won’t be buying again. I will instead get my potassium from avocados as they contain more than bananas

Whomever was the grocery person that picked my items the bananas are pretty much crap. i got a big bundle and they have bruises all over and will have to be ate in one day. Why would anyone pick a bundle like that! This is the first time that has ever happened in purchasing bananas that this has happened. Very disappointed.

Firm bananas' hold their ground

Normally I will skip "organic" because of the added expense, but I wanted a bunch of bananas' and the shopper chose organic bananas'. I'm really surprised at the firmness even when the little dark spots show the are ripening and should be softer these bananas' held their firmness. I've got to enjoy these much longer than the standard ones. Once they soften I don't like them as much.

Nature’s Perfect Snack In Organic Form

You can’t really go wrong with Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas. As a Walmart-exclusive brand, Marketside usually offers a pretty good balance between price and quality. Going organic here is a nice touch if you’re trying to avoid synthetic pesticides, which is a common concern for thin-skinned fruits, though bananas are often considered "safer" anyway because of their thick peel. The main "risk" with ordering bananas online or for pickup is the ripeness lottery. You might get a bunch that is bright green and takes four days to soften, or you might get the "ready for banana bread" spotted ones. Generally, Marketside bananas are consistent in size and don't have that "woody" texture you sometimes find in bargain-bin fruit. They’re high in potassium and Vitamin B6, making them the perfect pre-workout fuel or an easy addition to your morning Ripple milk smoothie. They aren't fancy, but they’re a reliable, healthy staple that should be on every grocery list.

A golden simian snack

As long as the shopper picks a green bunch, these are great bananas - sweet with slight tanginess. Full of potassium, too. Ready to consume in a day or two, but the whole bunch ripens quickly, so eat up. Like Chiquita would sing "you can eat them in a salad, you can eat them in a pieyie".

Depends who picks them

I enjoy them when we pick them out ourselves but when the shoppers pick them out for Walmart pickup they always seem to grab the worst looking of the bunch. We typically grab the bundle that are yellow with a bit of green and hold the most bananas for our family of 5 but they tend to grab the bundle with 2 or 3 bananas and already gone brown.

Great bananas

I have a banana every morning to keep up my potassium. At 73 I have my blood taken every 6 months and found if I don’t eat them my level drops. The only issue with bananas and other fruits is when they over ripen turning yellow to brown spots then there is more sugar in them. Not good. Best to eat them at that early stage between green to yellow.

Banana bunch = 3 bananas taped together.

I ordered a bunch of bananas. I received a "bunch" of 3 bananas. Judging by the picture, I would expect at least 5. What a joke. Technically, a bunch could be 3 bananas, but that won't keep me from having to stop somewhere to pick up bananas this week because 3 will not be enough.

It’s Bananas!

These bananas were so good. They tasted very banana-y. Every bite was pure banana. Not that artificial filler crap. Just pure 100% banana. Peeling them was a breeze. Some bananas break away at the stem, making it hard to peel. But, not these bananas!! They peel so easy. Whatever your banana plans are, these are a great choice. Ice cream banana split? Breakfast? Snack? Bedroom fun? These are the perfect bananas!!!

Thick skin, never got ripe.

The banana’s were too underripe and had an extremely thick skin, so they never got ripe inside and I had to eventually throw them out. I did find out after however that the white plastic wrap on the stem prevents them from getting ripe and must be removed in order for them to ripen properly. I dont know if this would have worked or not, since there was no mention of this on the packaging .
