Poor produce picking rotted bananas

The bananas are in terrible shape. They are pure black on the bottom and I pay more money for the organic ones and I allow substitutions. I cannot believe that somebody would actually put this in a bag for me to purchase extremely disappointed that it matter

Usually pretty decent fruit; avoid the ripening ones as they go bad VERY fast and you might want to lightly feel the banana before just buying a bunch - I have noticed some while they may still be slightly green are already starting to rot inside and the skin is mushy already

Organic bananas at a great price!

The price is bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s! I love these bananas and our family eats them every week. In our area Walmart has the best prices around on organic produce including these bananas and I will continue buying them so we can eat bunches of super fresh, sweet, perfectly ripe ones. Great as a snack, with your morning breakfast, in cereal, dipped in chocolate and frozen, in cake pudding and pie, the options are endless and they're just wonderful!

Pick better produce

I love Walmart produce, however I only feel safe ordering bananas. It seems like whoever does. The in-store shopping does not look at the produce when they selected or they select the worst one they can possibly find. Thus far the bananas have all come and they’ve been OK. Only once we got bananas that were not pleasant to look at. I would love it if Walmart would take the same consideration with all the other produce, and then we can order all of our fruits online.

We as a family have been eating a lot more healthier lately and I can’t seem to keep these in stock they disappear quicker then I can order them , not only for a wood after school snack or for baking , or just a simple dessert adder . I they do not last more then a day or 2 in our house very pleased

Organic Bananas taste better

All full-sized bananas in the US are Cavendish. They all pretty much taste the same, except that the organic ones seem to be a bit more flavorful, and have a slightly longer shelf life before going brown. Also, the tops have a wax paper seal which eliminates all those fruit flies you see in your kitchen all winter. Buy the organic ones for a better flavor.

Delicious, perfect bananas!

I let these bananas ripen just a little more, until the peels had changed from green to yellow. When I peeled one, inside it was the "perfect" banana - perfect color, perfect level of ripeness, and completely delicious! Being organic is just a bonus. Highly recommend these bananas

4 1/2 stars because

These are organic, very reasonably priced and quite tastey. On occasion they are badly bruised, thus I rate them 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. That being said, they are excellent otherwise. Sometimes they are rather green, but dont fret, bananas continue to ripen after being picked. So patience for 3 or 4 days may be required.

Hot house fruits

Good quality bananas but most of the time they’re too green to eat my kids have to Waite 2-3 day before they can eat them. What’s the point? Most of Walmarts fruits aren’t ripe to eat they’ve been hot housed in a trailer look ripe but taste is unripe.
