Have you noticed lately.....

Bananas are not what they used to be? Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas are consistent in the quality of their bunches of these. When the peel is pulled these are always fresh and not already rotting in spots. I like mine with brown spots and its only a day or two after I bring them home that I can start enjoying them. I eat at least one a day to get some potassium.

Banana bunch = 3 bananas taped together.

I ordered a bunch of bananas. I received a "bunch" of 3 bananas. Judging by the picture, I would expect at least 5. What a joke. Technically, a bunch could be 3 bananas, but that won't keep me from having to stop somewhere to pick up bananas this week because 3 will not be enough.

Bananas

These bananas had zero business being this good. Perfect ripeness window? Nailed it. Not green for 5 days, not instantly brown—just ready when you need them like they actually respect your schedule. Sweet, soft, no weird texture… just a solid banana every time. Bought a bunch thinking they’d last the week. That was optimistic. Between snacks, breakfast, and random “I need something right now” moments… gone. Not dramatic, not life-changing… just bananas doing their job really well. Yeah, I’ll keep grabbing these.

Worth a few extra cents for better cleaner fruit.

I had to buy regular bananas last week instead of these...and it reminded me of how much better the organic ones taste. These are usually slightly green and sweeter than non-organic bananas. They're ripe inside - don't wait for them to go full yellow! Also I like the protective tape. It's not that annoying to remove once purchased -- if you think about the fact that no one tried to pull on or mess with them in the store!

Grab-and-go happiness (with a banana bonus 🍌)

Title: Grab-and-go happiness (with a banana bonus 🍌)** These are my go-to when I need a quick snack and zero thinking. Easy to grab, easy to eat, and they actually hit the spot without feeling like a compromise. And the organic bananas? Consistently good. No weird surprises, no mystery bruises hiding inside. Just solid, reliable bananas doing exactly what bananas are supposed to do. Perfect for busy mornings, car snacks, or that “I need something now before I make bad decisions” moment. Simple, convenient, and always in my cart.

Organic bananas need to have a barcode that identifies the bananas as organic and the regular bananas as regular as I have watched other customers allow the register to charge organic bananas as regular ones because they choose the regular banana icon rather than the organic. This should change you should know this. With today’s technology, I am shocked to understand that this hasn’t been implemented already.

Nature’s Perfect Snack In Organic Form

You can’t really go wrong with Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas. As a Walmart-exclusive brand, Marketside usually offers a pretty good balance between price and quality. Going organic here is a nice touch if you’re trying to avoid synthetic pesticides, which is a common concern for thin-skinned fruits, though bananas are often considered "safer" anyway because of their thick peel. The main "risk" with ordering bananas online or for pickup is the ripeness lottery. You might get a bunch that is bright green and takes four days to soften, or you might get the "ready for banana bread" spotted ones. Generally, Marketside bananas are consistent in size and don't have that "woody" texture you sometimes find in bargain-bin fruit. They’re high in potassium and Vitamin B6, making them the perfect pre-workout fuel or an easy addition to your morning Ripple milk smoothie. They aren't fancy, but they’re a reliable, healthy staple that should be on every grocery list.

Bananas looked bad

Bananas are yellow on the outside and even have green tips on the top, but it took four bananas for me to find one that was usable after peeling. One of the bananas had no brown spots even after peeling but once I cut into it, it was brown and looked funny. I only have three bananas left out of the entire bunch and I'm not even sure if those are OK. I'm assuming not based on the four that I cut into that looked funny and brown. I'm not sure if this is because they are organic or they were dropped. This is unfortunate.

I don't know why the bananas never look as good, unbruised and not green compared to ShopRite or any of the other grocery stores I did a comparison shopping for bananas for making the best banana pudding for a party and Walmart you need to do better
