Received the 902XL black ink inside a damaged and cellophane taped package. The product was unwrapped, no orange tab was attached, and appeared/ felt empty!! Cautiously I placed the USED cartridge in the printer along with the 3 other new 902XL cartridges. After printer maintenance was complete, the printer indicated: one of the HP cartridges is used. Proof positive! I expect a timely response to my concern and disappointment. Please advise…..

The ink is expensive and dries up very quickly so if you are going to use your printer a lot then get the monthly deal but if you are like me and only use your printer to copy a recipe or use it once a month maybe then the ink will dry up and you are out all that money. and my printer will not print if I only have all the colors as soon as I get low on a color the printer alerts me and I have to get whatever color it alerted me to that is low. This is a very expensive printer to use if you have to pay 90.00 dollars to get the ink and it dries up in a month or two

I normally ignore these reviews because they don't always tell the whole story. I received my ink promptly which I needed because I waited too long before ordering, but when I opened the 1st black ink all of the ink spilled out of its cartridge. Luckily I ordered 2 because the first was a waste. Could be it was just a fluke or the hot weather of AZ that caused the failure but considering the price of ink, upsetting none the least. I have photos but cant upload for some reason, if HP would like them please contact me.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PIECE OF CRAP PRODUCT!!! I purchased 4, I repeat four black 902XL cartridges in a period of 24 hours. ALL HP name brand and THEY ALL BLEW UP. I rotated the orange handle and ink spewed out. Thinking I must have done something incredibly stupid I watch two YouTube videos. It wasn't me IT WAS CRAP Cartridges.

I have an HP printer for home use, and I only buy the HP ink cartridges to use in it. Most of my printing needs require the black color so I always buy black in the XL size. I have never had one fail me. For color I only buy the regular size cartridges.

I was very happy to find my HP Black XL ink online at Sams Club. It arrived before the estimated date and I was happy about that. Also, Sams kept me notified of the shipping and progress on a regular basis. I knew exactly when it would arrive. Thank you Sams Club.

The cartridge was delivered in the security plastic box which I had to take to the store to have removed. Then when the cartridge was put in machine, all the copies had skipped printing. I ordered a new one from Staples (to make sure it wasn't my printer). That one works fine.

I bought this to replace my black 902xl cartridge. Printer wouldn't accept it; messaged "cartridge is an old one which cannot be used by this printer." Tried 2 more times after restarting printer each time got the same result. Finally removed the cartridge and examined it under a magnifying glass--the black plastic covering at the top/back was defective; the v cut was incomplete and left a tiny bulge. Managed to pull it up enough to cut the left side to match the right. Reinstalled cartridge and got message - this cartridge has been recycled or reused and may not work. " Finally printed out a document with black ink. Since when do we get recycled/reused cartridges from HP--for the same cost as new ones??!!

HORRIBLY EXPENSIVE! It's almost the same price to just buy a new printer if you have to buy all new Cartridges. The printer will not operate with generic or refilled cartridges. It's a huge scam as you all know. So, my next purchase will be a new printer, but I will buy the new printers with refillable ink.

These high yield cartridges give you so much more. When they became unavailable for a short time, I purchased 3 regular size cartridges, and was so disappointed in how fast they ran out. These cartridges are expensive, but they deliver so much more and a great Sam's Club price.
