I really like the firmness of these pillows! They are a good in-between of soft and firm and seem to hold their shape really well. Sometimes I wake up with neck kinks, but I have avoided that with these pillows. I am a little disappointed because I was really excited about the coolness feature, but I dont seem to notice any of that after using them consistently the last few nights. I still think these are nice and comfortable though!

This pillow is a personal favorite for both my daughter and myself. Normally a 10 year old and a 40 year old wouldn't have much in common when it comes to pillows but that is where this set shines. My daughter likes a thinner pillow (she sleeps on her back) and I sleep on my side and prefer a firmer pillow. The pillows have two zippers and you can actually adjust the amount of fill in each pillow. Both of us like the cooling aspect of the pillow fill with my only minor complaint coming from the smell of the new foam. The smell seems to be fading quickly but you might want to air out the pillows a bit before use if you are sensitive to such things.

Love these pillows. I usually don't write reviews but when seeing the negative reviews, I felt I had to. I've been looking for a good cooling pillow for a long time that is comfortable too. Most are so heavy and hard. Love the cluster foam as it confirms to your head. Best cooling pillow I've found at a terrific price. Going to place an order for two more. Hopefully they will not change manufacturer.

The pillow is firm but still soft. It provides more support than my more expensive pillow that I purchased. I prefer it over my memory foam one as well since that one is too firm. This pillow offers a nice medium and I sleep very well. I wouldn’t say it stays cool all night though which would be nice.

Received quickly- seem very comfy and in between soft and firm. Just hope they keep their shape for quite awhile! Seem a little cool to sleep on- doesn’t make us hot- wish they were the king size just so they were longer, but that’s ok! Overall they help me not have a sore neck no matter how I sleep!

I really do love these pillows. They are pretty comfortable. They do have the cooling effect to them but not as much as I was hoping for. I’d say if you want that you’d have to leave a pillow case off it. I do think it’s nice that they come apart easily to wash. I am a side sleeper and a back sleeper and I would say overall I’m pretty satisfied with them!

When I removed the pillows from the box, I was very surprised with how fluffy and thick the pillows were. I like that they were washable and had a zipped cover that could be removed. The first night I slapped on the pillow, I noticed that since the interior is shredded, the filling was displaced from where my head was and all moved to the back of the pillow. I continued to sleep with the pillow for over a week and try different positioning to see which was the best way to use the pillow. The best way to sleep on the pillow without all of the filling moving away from the head is to sleep on your stomach with your arms under the pillow. I am a side sleeper and while the pillow is comfortable when you first start using it, by the morning, it doesn’t offer the same support. If this was a one piece insert instead of crumbled up pieces, I think it would be 4 or 5 stars. My teenage boys loved the pillow and didn’t mind that the interior shifts around. There is a lot of filling and it appears to be way better quality than some of the other pillows we have tried.

This pillow is soft and firm. The form makes it flexible to fold to make it firmer under your neck. The form also makes the pillow go back to its original state after sleeping on it overnight. The pillow stays cool and doesn't make you sweat. Good pillow.

This two pack of cooling gel memory foam pillows is pretty decent for the price but was more firm than I’d hoped. The first night I didn’t fluff or adjust the pillow too much and it was very hard and tough to sleep on. The next few nights I roughed up the pillow to try and separate the foam, but it was still quite dense. You can see the stuffing is shredded memory foam but after sleeping on it for many nights, it wasn’t as cool as I expected and seemed to hold heat in. If you like more firm pillows, this would be right up your alley.

These Serta pillows come in a set of two. They are made of cooling gel memory foam micro-cushions which you can actually feel the cooling effect while laying on them. They are a bit lumpy since the foam is in clusters and not one large piece of gel foam. I prefer solid foam pillows but these pillows are a great price only being $12.98 for the set and would be perfect for guest bedrooms. The cover is also machine washable so that’s a plus. My husband loves the pillows and is already using them.
