I have such mixed feelings about this pillow. I personally really enjoy the ways the material shifts around in the pillow so I can make it thicker or thinner in certain areas, especially since I am a side sleeper. I gave it three stars bacause I dont really find it to be cooling. Don't get me wrong it doesn't get hot after a while like other pillows do, but I have had other "cooling" pillows in the past that have felt and stayed cooler.

This pillow's perfect balance of softness and firmness provides excellent support for my head and neck. My husband and I have both been using it for over a week and have zero complaints. He is a back sleeper, I am a side sleeper and we both wake up feeling well rested. The cooling feature keeps me comfortably cool throughout the night. I also love the fact it comes with a washable cover. I highly recommend this pillow for a restful and comfortable night's sleep.

I have been on a quest for a great pillow. As silly as it sounds, I stayed at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas and slept on the best pillow and I have been looking for something similar. After seeing all of the positive reviews of these pillows I had to try them. I set them out to fluff the same night after receiving them. I gave the pillows a good shake & fluff & set them out for a few hours. I turned them over after the first hour & a half & fluffed again. I slept on them the first night after receiving. They are soft & you sink into the pillow, however, the pillow has substance and is supportive & I didn't feel like my head was lying on a flat slab. It cushions my head. I am a back and side sleeper & had no issues sleeping on this pillow.

Thank goodness it comes with two pillows so you can combine the stuffing into one pillow and end up with a one regular sized/stuffed pillow. It’s falsely advertised as a “cooling gel” pillow. There is no cooling gel whatsoever in this thing. I have ordered this exact brand/pillow in the past from other sellers and I assure you, what I just received is NOTHING like the ones I have received in the past. This is the WORSE a foam chip pillow ever! And sleeps extremely hot.

I love this pillow, hoever, my husband did not enjoy it as much as I. If you enjoy a large extra fluffy pillow this is not for you. This pillow is a standard size, comes with a washable cover, and is filled with small microfiber pieces in their own zipper cover. This pillow is gives support, yet molds to your body. Its is on the flatter side. I would recommend this to the individual having a hard time giving up their extremely old, worn in pillow, this is for them.

Pillows are such a personal choice for each person depending on their needs. That being said, these pillows work great for my teenage kids. They aren't too hard and aren't too soft. They like the cooling pillows and these hit the mark. If your looking for an economical, solid buy, these are a great option.

Been using these for a few weeks now and they're holding up well. They don't go flat or squish down on one side throughout the night, but are pliable enough to be comfortable! I usually replace my pillows every year, but these seem like they're made to last!

I enjoyed this pillow. I’m a side sleeper and it worked well. It does bunch up to one side but you just fluff it back out and you’re good to go. It’s soft and comfortable. It holds the shape of your head well, too. Would definitely purchase in the future

My wife and I trial tested these pillows for a week. Overall a decent pillow but we would prefer more loft. This pillow is filled with torn pieces of memory foam that are contained within a separate zippered bag inside the outer pillow cover (see picture). This makes it easy to wash just the pillow shell and adjust the level of loft in the pillow. However, for folks with wider shoulders (like us) the pillow is short on enough stuffing to keep our heads as high as we'd like while side-sleeping. There was a bit of off-gassing smell the first night or two that did go away. The pillows are more on the soft side - with the memory foam, you do get a bit of compression indentation from your head, but that is easily corrected with a bit of fluffing to the pillow. The pillow didn't seem to excessively overheat.

I have had a cooling pillow for several years which I also purchased at Sam’s Club. I was excited to hear they now carry the Serta Cooling Gel Memory foam pillow. After using it, the Serta pillow is soft and comfortable. I would rate the pillow softness as medium, not too firm and not too soft. I measured it as 23”L x 18”W x 7”D I found the cooling effect is very slight, if any. However it did seem to regulate my temperature. So if I was warm, the pillow didn’t also get as warm like my previous pillows without the cooling foam. At least that is what it seemed like to me. If you are suffering from hot flashes, for example, I don’t think this pillow will help with extreme body temperature changes like that. I was happy to hear that everything included with the pillow except for the pillow cover, was made and assembled in the USA. The pillow is also machine washable too! The pillow case has a zipper and so does the actual pillow. The instructions don’t mention this but if you wanted to, you can remove the filling in order to make the pillow softer or in my case, reducing the depth by 2”. This was helpful because it made the pillow align more with my spine while laying flat. But if you do this, just save the foam in case you want to fill it again. I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars. It is comfortable but the cooling effects are slight at least with my experience. I do like the option to remove/add filling and the fact it is machine washable too.
