I've used this pillow several times since receiving it and while it is pretty comfortable it's isn't quite as advertised. I don't really notice a cooling effect like I have with other pillows. Also, it's a memory foam that doesn't flatten but as you can see by the attached photos, it's clear where the pillow has been used. There are dents in the pillow. It's definitely not the worst pillow I've ever used but it's also not the best. I would use the pillow if I had to but I don't know that I would willingly buy it.

Great memory foam pillow for the price. Starts off super cold and is able to stay fairly cool through the evening. This may be a little firm for back sleepers but just right for side sleepers. I like that they included a card for washing instructions—nice touch. Buyers should be aware though that this “cushion” is actually made up of several small foam pieces or “micro-cushions” versus one single foam piece.

This is an awesome pillow! With a name like cooling gel memory foam, I expected a little coolness at first but it really delivered. Normally I toss & turn, flipping my pillow for the cool side. This pillow stayed cool all night, I didn’t need to flip it at all! It’s a nice thick size so it gave great support and didn’t leave me with a stiff neck. Overall I’m very impressed and will definitely be purchasing more soon!

I decided to try the Serta cooling gel memory foam pillows a few weeks ago. They arrived quickly and decently packaged. After sleeping on them for a couple weeks I guess it’s a good time to post a review! I noticed when using them that they definitely stay cooler than the average pillow. Also very comfortable and didn’t cause any discomfort for my head or neck while sleeping. My only caviat would be that I would describe these pillows as specifically for sleeping. Because of their softness they were not firm enough to prop up on the bed for reading, tv or gaming. But I have firmer pillows that serve this purpose well. If you’re looking for a pillow that will give you a good night’s sleep, this is an excellent choice. If you plan on using it for watching tv at night, you’ll need a firmer pillow to go with it.

My husband loves them. He likes a more firm pillow. He said it held it’s shape well and he was not having to flip and fluff the pillow. I, on the other hand, was not fond of the pillow. I felt like it made my head sit too high up and hurt my neck. I typically go for a softer/flatter pillow. As far as the cooling component…I don’t feel as though it was any more cooler than any other pillow. It felt pretty much the same coolness as the other pillows that we have used on our bed. If you like a pillow on the more firm side, you’ll most likely love this pillow. If you like a pillow more on the flat and soft side, this pillow is probably not for you.

These pillows are an amazing deal for the price. You get 2 of them. They are both form fitting & cooling. The memory foam is shredded pieces which makes it easy to shift and adjust to your needs. After several nights the memory foam still fluffs back up to its shape rather than falling flat. They each come with a washable cover which is super helpful in keeping the pillow fresh & clean for a great night sleep.

Upon receiving the pillows, I took them out of the plastic and unzipped them. They had a slight chemical smell, so i let them air out for 2 days without the cover on. Memory foam looks like confetti. Definitely keep the white cover on if you have kids so they don't empty it out and make a mess. After airing out, the pillows didn't smell, and I was able to use them. They are super comfortable. Hold their shape all night. I'm a side sleeper, and I didn't have to put my arm under the pillow the entire night. I'd definitely recommend these Serta pillows

Okay pillows. Best for the legs or propping you up to read, but not for the head, much too high. You can take out the filling, though it's a messy operation since this is filled with leftover foam pieces (waste product from the factory) from other foam pillows. Not overly recommended, but it does have good use by other means as I mentioned above. Not bad or good, your mileage will vary. One positive purpose for these pillows is that they help keep foam waste out of landfills.

I used this pillow for a week as my primary pillow. It flattened down more than anticipated. My sleep with this pillow overall was normal compared to my previous one. Comfortable on head and neck for back and side sleeping, but back sleeping was better overall. I did not feel any cooler or hotter compared to my previous pillow.

They smelled terrible when I opened the box but the smell went away after a few days. I couldn’t really tell that it was a cooling pillow. Aside from that it is a little firm for those that like firm pillows. I did like the pillows and would buy them again.
