Since the Serta Gel Memory Foam Cluster Pillows is a 2-pack, my husband and I each tried one. I used mine as a normal pillow for my head. He is a side-sleeper so he used his as a "hug" pillow. We have been using them for about 3 weeks now. They do have a strong odor at first, so I would recommend letting them air out before use. When I first saw that it was a gel pillow, I assumed it would be solid. However, the "cluster" part of the pillow makes softer and reminded me of a faux down pillow. I am not sure how long they will hold up, but for the price we would recommend these pillows.

My husband and I absolutely love our gel memory foam pillows! They keep fresh especially now that it’s hot. Only thing we noticed was a funny smell but looking thru the instructions we found to wash them and that solved that problem. They have their own protective case so we just throw our own pillow covers on top and they are perfect! No more sore neck or excessive sweating from my husband at night.

I have been using the Serta cooling gel memory foam pillow every night for about a week and it did not disappoint, not only is it cooling the entire night but it also holds it shape well but is not so stiff that you hurt your neck . When opening the pillows they did have a chemical smell but it went away after the first night Overall I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a supportive pillow but not a brick

I have used this pillow for the last several nights with the weather changing from hot during the day to cold at night. I have not noticed the "cooling effect" because when I lay down it doesn't feel cool. It is a firm, but a squishy pillow, for that I would recommend.

Love Love Love this pillow. My husband and I tried this Serta Gel Memory Foam Cluster Pillows and had the best night sleep! Stays fluffy all night long, feels cool on a hot night, and cradles the head just right. This pillow far exceeds any pricey pillow. My husband is a hard one to please in the pillow department and he has had no complaints since we switched to these pillows. We have been using them for over a week now.

Straight out of the packaging you can feel the cooling of the pillow which is wonderful! However after using it a couple nights, I wish it was a little more firm. When using two together they are supporting and comfortable. I would definitely recommend especially for the price!

This pillow is very comfortable and does cool you off adequately. It is soft enough to conform to your head and neck, but not too soft that it loses form. My only complain is that it's quite short. Even for a standard pillow size, it seems smaller than usual pillows.

This pillow is great - the pieces of memory foam make it easy to shape the pillow how you want it. It doesn't flatten out while you're sleeping. I love that you can put the pillow in the washer and dryer. I wouldn't say it's necessarily cooling, and it smelled kinda funky straight out of the box. A quick wash and dry fixed that, though!

Used the Serta Cooling gel memory foam pillow the night they arrived, and every night since. I am a hot sleeper and they helped keep me cool throughout the night. I did not wake up as often to flip to the "cool" side of the pillow to go back to sleep.

I like and dislike these pillows. First, they are made from small pieces of torn up foam, hence the term "cluster" in the product name. Second, they are quite heavy. We took them on a road trip and my sons loved them, but they were added weight to carry in to our hotel each night. They ended up being hard and heavy, but I do like that they are very firm which helps me keep my head elevated when I sleep. I cannot, however, use them without a softer pillow on top of them. They are worth what I paid for them, but they are not memory foam pillows (which would cost much, much more). Just a strange pillow filling, to be honest.
