The pillows have thankfully alleviated much of my chronic neck pain. Turns out the right pillow makes a huge difference. The cooling effect is subtle and feels wonderful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pillows are absolutely excellent. They are so extremely soft and they feel like I'm sleeping on Cloud 9. They are not clumpy or hard. I have even washed them and dried them successfully without any issues and they are still absolutely perfect!!

Well shucks! My husband and I were excited to try these and loved them at first (perhaps because they are better than no pillow at all) and now after only a few short days, the buggers are as flat as can be. Back to the drawing board ... feel confident in passing these by.

I brought these pillows Sunday morning. At bed time after about 10 mintues I develped a cough, my chest felt heavy and my hands and arms became itchy and inflammed. I blamed it on allergy season and went to sleep. I coughed most of the night. When I got up yesterday morning I still felt the chest irritation and had the cough so I was hoping I wasn't coming down with a cold or something much worse. While gettng ready for work my chest felt better and the cough dissipated. All day long I was fine so I believed it must have passed until just now when I laid down to go to sleep. After a few minutes the cough returned, my chest felt heavy and my skin became itchy and inflammed. It was then I connected the coughing attacks and irritation to the pillows. I moved them off the bed and placed them on a chair in my room and after a few minutes my symptoms subsided. I think the most worrisome thing about this is the pillows are covered with both a pillowcase and pillow protector yet I still had an allergic reaction and that smell was still very strong. I would really like to know what these things are made of and how to get a refund if possible.

I bought the two-pack of these on sale for $9.98. You can't beat that price. And they are good pillows. They hold their shape through the night. Medium in height - not too big or small. I am used to a foam pillow that is getting too used and worn out.

I bought these pillows and there is a gasoline smell to them. I washed them according to the label tag sewn on the pillows. They smell even worse. I sent an email to Serta Customer Service because I don't know what to do with them or if the smell is normal. I don't want some weird lung disease from inhaling the fumes while sleeping on them.

I couldn't pass up the $9.98 price for two. However, they are very heavy and the smell is so strong. I do feel like the are cooler than other pillows. I have to put another pillow on top of this pillow so I'm not smelling chemicals all night. If you like hard, heavy and very smelly pillows, then these are the pillows for you.

These pillows feel comfortable but they smelled weird when we bought them and when I unzip them there are chunks of blue foam everywhere. It’s not safe for little kids. We had these set up for the kids to use on their beds but now we have to get new pillows for them.

Bought these today. Tried a one hour nap with a cotton pillowcase. Side Sleeper. My head sinks about half way down and then stops like I hit a piece of plywood. Interesting guts...It looks like that popcorn packing material except foam rubber and gel blended 50/50 in blue and white. Really wanted these to work for me but not comfortable at all.
