I purchased 4 of these in store. Haven’t had a good nights rest since. They state to fluff them frequently. I’ve tried. They are so very hard that I have neck and head pain regularly. Unfortunately I pitched my old ones. I’ll never buy gel again! Don’t waste your money unless you enjoy sleeping on a rock.

I’ve always loved these pillows. I just bought our fourth set and for the first time, am disappointed with them. The smell is awful! They smell like a can of paint. I have left them out to air our but when you lay your head on them, the smell is, of course, in your face. I love how comfortable they are, but hope the smell eventually fades.

I bought these pillows last year. I thought they were going to be good since it is Serta and the amenities that came with them especially the cooling. Well to my surprise they don't keep me cool and they give me serious neck pain everyday. For me it's a no go.

Serta Pillows these pillow smell terrible I dont no what chemicals they have in them but I dont like the smell but after you lay on them for a while to smell seems to go away a little so far I still smell the chemicals a little but if they dont change the chemicals or smell no I want buy again that's whats keeping me from ordering again because they r ok for sleeping but I dont no about these pillows

I purchased these giving Serta a shot since they felt comfy holding them in-store and it also said it's machine washable on the bag which was a selling point for me too. Fast fwd to taking them out of the bag they have a obnoxious plastic smell which Febreeze couldn't even help with and read the manufacturer tag to find out it's just the slip that's machine washable .

So I currently have severe neck and shoulder problems. I am Male 5-10 185lbs. Out of the bag the pillows seem to be just what I like. It was even kool to the touch. I slept well the first night. It has a zippered removable cover so that you can launder it. I noticed when I was making the bed the next day, that the pillow seamed not as fluffy. I was able to quickly fluff them back up. I didn't notice if they were still kool to the touch. (maybe the morning chill was in the air.) Needless to say, it makes me wonder if the pillow will hold up over time. I will continue to use them. I have other pillows on order (much more expensive), so these will most likely be my pillows for my pillow shams. $10 for a pack of 2 is great value to me. Not 5 stars, only because they just don't give you that longevity feeling if you gotta fluff them up every morning. Maybe that is normal? You be the judge.

I purchased these today, I just got out of the shower and then came put pillowcases on the pillows and crawled in bed.....I did not even lay on them but instead just leaned on them.........I am itching so bad I absolutely have to get back in the shower because I am itching that bad, not to mention the horrendous smell......I put them back in the package and out of the room so I can breathe ......they are absolutely horrible in so many ways.

I didnt like the awful chemical smell. After laying on it for a few my hair had the bad unpleasant chemical smell. I also didnt like how flat the pillow was too. Needless to say I washed my hair and pitched the STINKY pillows in a trash bag for trash night the next day. Not even wasting me time with these pillows. Worse pillow I ever layed my head on in my entire life. Stay away if your asthmatic.

I brought these pillows Sunday morning. At bed time after about 10 mintues I develped a cough, my chest felt heavy and my hands and arms became itchy and inflammed. I blamed it on allergy season and went to sleep. I coughed most of the night. When I got up yesterday morning I still felt the chest irritation and had the cough so I was hoping I wasn't coming down with a cold or something much worse. While gettng ready for work my chest felt better and the cough dissipated. All day long I was fine so I believed it must have passed until just now when I laid down to go to sleep. After a few minutes the cough returned, my chest felt heavy and my skin became itchy and inflammed. It was then I connected the coughing attacks and irritation to the pillows. I moved them off the bed and placed them on a chair in my room and after a few minutes my symptoms subsided. I think the most worrisome thing about this is the pillows are covered with both a pillowcase and pillow protector yet I still had an allergic reaction and that smell was still very strong. I would really like to know what these things are made of and how to get a refund if possible.

If you are looking for a firm, supportive pillow—this is your buy! I am a back and side sleeper and like a pillow that is firm, yet comfortable. This checked off all the boxes! Yes, there is a slight smell upon taking out of the bag (typical of shredded gel memory foam). I left mine in the cold garage for 2 days to air out and smell is completely gone! Instructions say the entire pillow is machine washable. I would suggest delicate cycle, cold water, no bleach. With prices skyrocketing like they are, you can’t get a better buy! This is the pillow for back and side sleepers.
