My husband says it's the perfect hugging pillow. I only use 1 pillow and it's this one. It's the comfiest on my head and is such a great price point. If you're on the fence just get it and give it a shot. Worst case scenario it's not for you and you return it!

worst pillow ever..it is not cooling, and in fact traps heat. it instantly smashes down flat wherever you lay your head. and it is lumpy when you run your hand over it. its not a normal pillow and i believe its made of chopped up/cut up pieces of foam..which you can feel (hence the lumpiness). horrible pillow all around..

My Husband and I purchased 2 of these pillows December 2018. LOVED them. Went back to Sam's Club about 13-14 months later to purchase 2 more...same identical item number. BUT...China did a bait and switch on Sam's Club or Sam's knew about it because these pillows selling now are NOT what I purchased in 2018. I still have the receipt and the packaging from that sale. The pillows in 2018 were a solid piece of foam. The pillows from 2018 have a zipper running the long side of the pillow and the last ones purchased have the zipper running on the short side of the pillow. The ones that are sold now are nothing more than cut up pieces of foam that are NOT firm or cooling, nor is it memory foam, as you can see stated on the Serta package label. If Sam's Club knew about this...shame on them and if they didn't, then shame on them also for not having employees checking what was actually ordered.

I ordered 4 sets of (2 pack) Serta Gel Memory Foam Pillows. I only received 3 sets & I have sent Sam's a complaint, they never responded. So, I paid 59.40 for 3 sets instead of 4. The pillows are nice and comfy, although you wouldn't want to have a pillow fight with these pillows

These pillows have been great. Nice volume to the inside giving enough support that doesn’t just flatten after one use like some pillows. These hold their shape well. The cooling effect is okay. Can’t say I felt a huge difference, but definitely some. Wish I could find these in king size.

I love this pillow! It does exactly what it says. As soon as you lay down, it has a cooling sensation. I love that you can unzip the cover and wash it as frequently as you’d like to. I also love that you can unzip and take out any of the flushness and make it the size that you want. My husband likes a fluffier pillow and I like a flatter pillow. With this pillow we could customize it to however we wanted. It’s really a great pillow and I plan on buying one for each of my kids.

my pillows had a very strong chemical smell, maybe they got wet in transit, not sure why but the smell was so strong, I couldn't keep them in my room. when I took them to my local Sams club, ask them to match my purchase price for an even exchange, they refused and said all they could do was issue a refund, where is common sense and customer service at, that offers the buyer a fare resolution to a very simple problem? damaged/defective product

When I unpacked the pillows, the smell of oil/rubber tires filled the room. I let the pillows breathe for a few hours, but they still had a strong odor. I sprayed the pillows with Febreze, but it did not last. I tried to sleep on the pillow, but ended up with a migraine. My husband threw his out the room. Taking these back! Now that I read the reviews, I see that this is a recurring problem. Avoid buying these pillows!

These pillows are definitely a win in our home. The kids and I LOVE pillows and these hit most all the marks for us. The fabric encasing the pillows is so nice my kids took these and ran with no pillow cases and did not want me to put any on since the pillows felt so nice without cases. The outer shell comes off easily and is zippered. Same as the inner shell. These are adequately stuffed but the inner shell also has a zipper where you could easily open and add more. We all love how the pillows inner is not a solid piece, but many, allowing it to mold around your face and neck. As a side sleeper, I’m totally in love. Thanks for the kiddos they have already been dirty and needed cleaning which was so easy. As a mom I need this convenience and comfort. The only thing we would like is for them to have a bigger size available. But that is not a ding by any means. 5 stars from all three of us.

Too stuffed to be comfortable. I unzipped the liner and pulled some filling out. What a mess. It was full of particals that looked like actual dirt. You can only wash the outer cover. You can not wash the inner cover or the foam as they are bits and pieces. It's kind of gross. I think Serta can do better. This is something I would never purchase again. I don't think I will be recommending this.
