I bought these pillows and there is a gasoline smell to them. I washed them according to the label tag sewn on the pillows. They smell even worse. I sent an email to Serta Customer Service because I don't know what to do with them or if the smell is normal. I don't want some weird lung disease from inhaling the fumes while sleeping on them.

First of all don"t ever buy "My Pillow" what a scam that is. Chunks of scrap foam that turned yellow in a week. So this Serta pillow set doesn't make my sleepy head hot at night. It has a new smell but most memory foam does, it goes away. I move around all night that's how I sleep but this keeps me in one spot longer because it is so comfortable. It shapes to your position an fluffs up when you change. The price is so super duper inexpensive for the great quality and sleep you will get. Buy them they are worth you trying them out. I bought another set and use my fat, hot bamboo pillows for decorative pillow shams. When I make my bed I fluff them all up because I like to do that. I always had to use 2 pillows and I am so impressed I only need one of these greatest on Earth memory foam pillows. Love Love Love! Buy it and try it, your gonna like the way you sleep!!

Well, I was going to throw them away but Sam's Club takes returns for up to two years. So I returned them. These pillows are full of CHUNKS of foam. They will contort into a squished shape and STAY there. Not at all what "memory foam" is supposed to do, which is return to its original shape if left alone. The chunks form lumpy, awkward shapes and don't expand again unless you yank, pull, and shake the pillow apart.

I didnt like the awful chemical smell. After laying on it for a few my hair had the bad unpleasant chemical smell. I also didnt like how flat the pillow was too. Needless to say I washed my hair and pitched the STINKY pillows in a trash bag for trash night the next day. Not even wasting me time with these pillows. Worse pillow I ever layed my head on in my entire life. Stay away if your asthmatic.

I have the pillows from 3 years ago, and was hoping to get them again because they're amazing. Well, these are NOT. They are nothing like the originals i bought. There is no cushion, you go right through. Theres no substance to these, absolutely awful. And desperately searching for similar to the original.

Too hard. Was causing me neck pain and shoulder pain if I tried to rest up on or even sleep on my back. Tried sleeping on the side; in doing so, neck pain felt fine, but shoulder pain persisted. Purchased to replace pillows that were old and flat. Thought these would be better. Ended up just using pillows I had forgotten I had for the spare room that were purchased elsewhere and for a lot less years ago.

I love these pillows. They are perfect for me. These do not flatten out as some reported but they are not extra firm. There is a squish to cradle your head. My youngest daughter loves them to but my oldest daughter does not. It all depends on your personal preference as far as material and soft vs firm preference.

If you are looking for a firm, supportive pillow—this is your buy! I am a back and side sleeper and like a pillow that is firm, yet comfortable. This checked off all the boxes! Yes, there is a slight smell upon taking out of the bag (typical of shredded gel memory foam). I left mine in the cold garage for 2 days to air out and smell is completely gone! Instructions say the entire pillow is machine washable. I would suggest delicate cycle, cold water, no bleach. With prices skyrocketing like they are, you can’t get a better buy! This is the pillow for back and side sleepers.

I have bought these pillows several times over the past decade or so through sams club and they are always my favorites. This price is a huge bargain. Everyone has different pillow preferences, so I'm not sure if you'll love these but I'd say you should definitely try them out.

If you have a big heavy head like me this pillow is for you. My head sinks into it but not too much and I sleep like a Big Baby. Have a few of these and my kids have taken a few to their rooms. My wife has a small head and her bird head sits on top of this pillow so she thinks it’s too hard. The price is also very low compared to all those miracle foam commercialized pillows on TV.
