I'm apparently in the minority here. I think the new Country Crock has a much more butter-like taste, with a unique edgy tang that might be from the addition of vinegar to the recipe. I fully understand, though, why long-time users might be upset. The new recipe tastes VERY different from the old. I also see how the new "edginess" that I really like in this new version is exactly what could put a lot of people off. It is truly something of an "acquired taste" now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Country Crock Churn Style margarine. Soft enough to spread on the thinnest bread and tasty enough that you may think it's actually butter. Makes my mashed potatoes extra creamy and taste so good. I highly recommend this product.

I am 37 and have been using Country Crock since I was a teenager. I now buy the one with added omega 3. I have had my cholesterol checked and my blood doctor told me that I must be doing something right because I am very healthy. My cholesterol levels are ideal, he said whatever I am doing to keep it up. I eat a lot of healthy nuts as well, but anytime I need butter I use Country Crock. My blood pressure is on the low side of normal. He said at this rate I should not have any concerns with my cholesterol or blood pressure. I am overweight for other reasons, and have a family history of heart disease. So I have the cards stacked against me, but I truly believe Country Crock has contributed to my current heart health status.

No matter whether it's on corn, on bread, in pasta this is the best choice EVER!! The taste is so delicious and mouth watering. I refuse to use any other brand. My favorite is using it with my Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Pasta!!! The taste of smooth and real ingredients keeps me coming back for more. Country Crick is the only choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Absolutely love the original country crock and have no clue as to why I stopped using it in the first place. It has a smooth texture and taste and makes me feel like I am giving something truly amazing to my family. I have used my country crock in my everyday cooking, my specialty cooking and just for butter on toast. I will never go back to using any other spread and I must say that I am in love with the new containers, they are so much more practical for a fridge then the large round tubs!

I am a fan a real butter, but if you don't have the foresight to take it out of the fridge before you need it, you get torn bread. Country Crock helps solve that problem. It has a nice creamy taste and spreads well. It also melted really easily on my Sunday morning waffles, filing the little waffle holes with buttery yumminess. I haven't used this for baking so I am not sure how well it will perform in recipes, for as a spread it exceeds expectations, without any "oily" taste that a lot of other spreads have.
