I can't even give a star to the new original recipe. Please go back to the old recipe. We've used the crock for many years and never considered changing, but may be forced to as we are finding it more challenging and an inconvenience to "hunt" for the old recipe. It's slowly being replaced in all stores and we will most certainly change if we are unable to purchase the old recipe because the new recipe is inedible.

I enjoyed the time I got to do my actual tasting and comparing of this product. The taste of it on its own was salty which was good. the taste it gives to my morning toast is great and I actually cooked some chicken in it and it was better that with the typically used oil in my house.

I used it on my crackers and toast for my breakfast and I love how it is light to spread. I used other brands before, but this one is airy and spreads evenly. Love it. I have used Country Crock Original Butter as far back as I can remember. I am not happy with the new simple recipe at all. I've tried, I just can't do it anymore. It has changed the taste of everything that I use it for..Please go back to the way it was...Please!

I am a very busy mom in a household of 6 and I am the primary cook. To my surprise I now have a new love in my life #SimplePurrfection. My family and I were offered this incredible chance by @Influenster to try Original Style Country Crock Buttery Spread. The very moment our sample arrived I couldn't wait to use it, I was greatly impressed with how soft the butter is straight from the fridge. The rich, creamy, delicious flavor that is just so full of flavor in every food I used it in! I have been giving very high recommendations to family, friends and others. This is one thing I can not keep secret to myself, Thank you!

I was a bit hesitant to try Country Crock because I had been so used to using my normal spread. However, after I tried it on my morning bagel I was SOLD! The flavor is so rich and creamy, it enhances the flavor of whatever I use it on. Since I have received Country Crock original, I have used it daily. I have even had to buy more at the store! I am so glad that I was introduced to this great product! I received free product for my unbiased review.

I will never purchase this product again. I thought it was just a new package buy boy was I wrong. When I opened the package the smell was awful and the taste was worse. It has ruined everything that I have put it on or in. I am now in search of a new spread.

It is not a viable butter substitute, well, nothing is - because I'm not afraid of butter. This is cheaper than butter, but the flavor does not come close. And it has a ton of ingredients. It gets two stars because I can appreciate the price and spreadability. I will not purchase this item.

We buy this all the time for one member of our family. There is new packaging that is too flimsy. The lid continues to bend as you try to put it back on the container. This results in the lid coming off each time you take it out of the refrigerator. Also, the new shape is longer and not as deep. It no longer fits well in the butter keeper of my refrigerator. I may not purchase this any longer.

I ALWAYS have a tub of this in my fridge, and my family uses it for everything. From baking to cooking to just buttering some toast. Although it is not the healthiest of the butters, we still enjoy it and will continue to use it. The price is decent and it last awhile, so its worth it in the end.
